In All Seriousness ~ A Fred Weasley FanFic

Chapter 5

Molly and Arthur just left for about an hour or two and the twins are the only ones home besides me. "Whelp, I'm already bored!" I said to myself. I put my bookmark in my book and went downstairs into the kitchen. 

I looked into the cupboards and grabbed a couple of cookies and ran back upstairs. I ate the cookies and fell asleep. I woke up about a half hour later. I look over at my nightstand and see the Puking Pastilles. I wanna go thank them again, and ask them where they got them, I'm curious. 

I get up and go out into the hallway. I knocked on Fred and George's bedroom door. "Come in!" someone said. I opened the door and went in their room. There was only one twin. "Where's George?" I ask. "I am George." he said chuckling. "But..I thought.." I said. "Don't sweat it" e said laughing. I smiled. "So, where's Fred?" I asked. "Bathroom." he replied. I nodded.

"So, whatcha' in here for?" he asked me. "Oh, I wanted to thank you guys for the present, where did you get it?" I asked. "We made it!" said George proudly. Fred walks in. "Hey Fred!" I said. "I'm George." he said. "Fred, oh my gosh I'm gonna kill you!" I said laughing. 

"You told her you were George?" asked George. "Yup!" said Fred, popping the 'p'. We all laughed. "I can't believe you pulled that!" I said, lightly hitting him on the shoulder.

"So, why'd you come in?" asked George. "I came to thank you guys for the gift and I've heard that you guys make it?" I questioned. "Yeah! We make all kinds of things!" George said. "Yeah, we're hoping to expand our business one day!" Fred said. 

"Oh, that's really neat!!" I said back. I look over and poking out from under George's bed is a semi-opened box. "Hey, what's that?" I asked, pointing at the box. "Oh, that my small friend, is an Extendable Ear." said Fred. "Heyyy, I'm not that small!" I said. "You kinda are." chuckled George. I rolled my eyes. "Anyways," I said sarcastically, "What's an Extendable Ear?" I asked. 

Fred and George sat down on the floor and I joined them. Fred pulled out the box and took one out. "You take this end and listen through it." said Fred.  "And then this end, you put where you wanna hear." said George. "It's for eavesdropping basically?" I asked. "Yup!" the twins said together. "Noice" I said, making the perfect sign. We laughed. "Here take one!" said George, handing me one. 

I heard a knock at the door. I quickly put the Extendable Ear behind my back and the twins slid the box under their bed. "Yes?" George said. The door opened to reveal Molly. 

"What are you kids doing on the floor?" Molly asked. "Oh, nothing" said Fred. "What's up, mum?" asked George. "I was just checking in on you kids, letting you know I'm home. So is Ginny, Ron, and Percy." explained Mrs. Weasley. 

I felt eyes on me again. I glance over and see Fred. He quickly looks away. I wonder what that was about? 

"Would you kids mind coming downstairs?" asked Molly. "Sure!" I said as we all got up and went downstairs with her. I wonder why she would need us? 

We went into the living room and sat down. Everyone was there. Arthur gave each of us but Ginny a letter.
