The first day at work felt weird. Everyone was so informal. It didn't even feel like a work place. It looked more like a place for friends to come and hang. There was a BED in Hanif's office. A BED!!! Aliyah couldn't believe when she saw it. The receptionist introduced herself as Ms. Information. The head of finance was a man with dreadlocks and was wearing dungarees. Who does that?

Well she was in LA. Pretty much everything was weird to her. The funniest part is that Hanif was always wearing flip-flops to work. Being his PA was harder than she thought. She was the one attending meetings and making deals. She was the one doing pretty much everything. All he did was create games and play them. Hanif understood the work was too much for her. He told her he would hire her a PA of her own and Aliyah was just about to ask him whether he is crazy.

The girls were always having  fun. They always eat out and Aliyah was always paying. Isabelle spent the whole day watching TV and sleeping. She kept on checking the news paper and her phone wishing she would find a job fast. Rukhayah was always busy. She was the one that made sure the house was clean. Unlike Aliyah and Isabelle, she loved things being well organised.

"Where is my brown sweatpants." Isabelle once asked as she ransacked the whole house.

"Where did you leave it?" Rukhayah asked her.

"Right on a pile of clothes I had left there. Now they are all gone." She said pointing on the ground.

"I have put them in the wardrobe." Rukhayah said.

Isabelle opened the wardrobe and tried to find it. She kept throwing things on the ground.

"Belle, I just organized those." Rukhayah complained. "Stop disorganising my organisations." Aliyah who was watching tried to stifle a laugh.

"Well I never asked you to organise my disorganizations." Isabelle said and Aliyah laughed.

Those two were always arguing about everything. They couldn't agree on anything. It was kinda funny. Every time they disagreed on something, Aliyah would talk about food and both of them would start blubbering. They loved food more than arguing.

At first it was hard and they had to create some rules.

"First person to call to call DIBS gets it!" Isabelle said.

"No, finder's keeper!" Rukhayah shouted.

"It's not a treasure hunt dummy."

"I never said it is!"

"I don't care about your damn rule, I call DIBS on the TV remote."

"That's not fair, I wanna watch Teenwolf."

"Well too bad, I am gonna watch Real Husbands Of Hollywood. Kelvin Hart is bae."

" What? He is ugly. Scott is hot!"

"Ladies!" Aliyah would shout.

"What!" They would chorus.

"Let's watch some cartoon instead."

They would argue for another half an hour before they finally agree on something. It was always cute to Aliyah. It never grew old.

I am going to LA to find her. Jaffar's words kept running through Marla's head as she went for her morning run.

She was almost sure she had gotten rid of Aliyah.

"Fine!" Marla had shouted that  night. "Go ahead. Go run after that frump."

"Well you should start packing because when I come back I will be coming with my Wife." He spat the last word on her face. She couldn't believe he said that. Just then she felt hurt in  a way she had never felt before. That's when it hit her; she was not in love with his money, she was in love with him.

It's been more than a month since he saw her seated in their living room. He tried telling his mother she was no angel but Bayden had brainwashed his mother.

He told her to back off but she wouldn't listen. She was playing the good Muslimah in front of his mother. It seams like his mother was getting close to her.

"Haytham Habibi, I like Bayden." His mother had told him one night. "She is like the daughter I never had. In Sha Allah I want a daughter in law just like her."  She kissed his son's palm and Haytham kissed her forehead.

How could anyone be so selfish? She had gotten close to his greatest weakness, his mother. He couldn't even make her leave because his mother liked her, rather liked  the fake Bayden.

Haytham even tried talking his mom into moving to Birmingham. She refused. He was then left stranded. Not sure how to get rid of her.
