Hanif Carter was walking around in the streets of New York. Aliyah said that was the first place Isabelle would go. The central park was her first home. He was walking past a fancy restaurant when he saw Lisa and a well dressed gentleman walking out. He tried to walk faster so that she doesn't see him.
"Henry?" She called.
Arghh! So much for trying to get away. He turned around and faked a smile.
"Howdy people." The gentleman with Lisa smiled at him.
"What are you doing in New York?"
"Who is this dashing gentleman?" Hanif asked ignoring his sister.
"James Baker, CEO Almond Inc." He said with a smile.
"Wow! Double threat! Dashing and rich." He knew he was talking too much but he would do anything to avoid his sister. James Baker smiled nervously.
"Enough of your drama." Lisa said angrily. "Does Daddy know you are here?"
"No and please don't tell him." Hanif said in one breath. Lisa rolled her eyes. Of course he could not stay in LA and work like a normal son would. He was always so rebellious. Hanif noticed something he had never noticed about her. There was a ring on her finger. It was dazzling.
"The ring?" He said. James Baker looked at them waiting for his fiancée to tell her brother the news.
"I am getting married."
"And you never told me?"
"You never told me when you became a Muslim."
"What happened to our twin thing?"
"You killed it the day you became a Muslim." Lisa said and started walking away.
"So your problem is that I became a Muslim?" Hanif asked angrily.
"No." Her voice was plain and free of any emotions. "My problem is the fact that you never told me about your intention."
A few minutes after that Hanif called Miss Information and asked her to find out all she could on James Baker.
"If that jerk tries to hurt my Lisa he will hear it from me." He said and walked away.

Isabelle Martinez was at the roof of a very tall building. Sitting on the very edge not afraid of falling. She had her headphone on. She looked down at the city and smiled. It was so beautiful at night. She couldn't even hear or notice as someone walked in and sat next to her.Drex looked at her and smiled. She was so beautiful and crazy. She was not like other girls. He poked her back and she flinched. Drex grabbed her arm, realising it was a bad idea to poke someone who was sitting at the edge of a roof of a building with 30 floors.
"I am fine!" She shouted.
"Are you sure." He asked softly unsure of why she would shout.
"I AM FINE!" She said louder than the first time. That's when he realised she had her headphones on. He pushed it down her neck and some of her hair started being blown by the wind.
"Arghh!" She punched him on the shoulder. "I was using that to restrain my hair."
"You don't need that. The wind might give you a new hairstyle." He said and took her headphones. He gave her a confused look as he tried to listen to what she was listening to.
"What kinda Music is this?" It was his turn to shout. "Never heard it before. Sounds beautiful though."
"Stop shouting!" Isabelle shouted at him. He stop whatever was playing and smiled at her.
"Whatever crazy."
"That's not music." She told him.
"Poem?" He asked.
"No."
"Then what is it? Because I really need it. It's beautiful."
"It's the Qur'an." She said with a smile on her face. "It helps me calm down. And FYI people don't listen to it as music. If I knew how to recite it I would do it everyday for it brings tranquility into my heart."
There was an awkward silence and Drex felt the need to break it.
"So when are you going back?"
"Ooh you don't want me here anymore?"
"That's not it."
"Then what is it?"
"Aliyah, she is worried sick about you. And your mother will go crazy. "
"I know."
"Then what are you waiting for? Just go back."
"Oh I get it! This is all because you want your room back." Isabelle smirked. "Good luck with fixing it coz it's a mess now, Mr. Neat!"
Drex looked at her and smiled. Not every girl is as strong as she is.

"Hanif is in town. He is trying to find a girl who went missing a few weeks ago. And he was hoping we would help look for her." Jamal told Haytham as they were playing video games."I don't work with the police." Haytham said as he concentrated on the game.
"They would have called the police but the girl is no longer a minor and left on her own accord." Jamal said while struggling to defend himself from getting crushed by Haytham in the game.
"Here comes the fire!" Haytham shouted as he hit Jamal's figure in the game with a fire ball. That knocked the Jamal's figure out and Haytham started dancing around. He seamed so proud of himself. Jamal made an attempt to roll his eyes and failed miserably.
"So will you help?" Jamal asked.
"Yea whatever, use me." Haytham said and Jamal laughed at him.
Since I have failed to find my Aliyah , maybe I might find this girl for him. He thought and felt the very familiar pain he always felt gripping him. Jamal put his hand on his shoulder as if he knew what his friend was thinking about. Haytham smiled.
"Another game?" Haytham asked.
"It's on! And this time I am kicking your jerky ass!" Haytham laughed out loud and the game started.
