"No way Adam, I will not do that." Isabelle shook her head.
"Come on, it's just for a week. Me, you , mom and Rukhayah." Adam pleaded. "It will be fun."
"Aliyah, please tell him I said no." She dragged Aliyah in to their little negotiation.
"You should probably go." Aliyah said and Adam smirked.
"See, even your best friend wants you to say yes." Adam pleaded some more.
"No, I am not going on some crazy trip when I know you need me, Aliyah." She said and her brother gave up. After all Aliyah was her second real family after the Martinez.
Later on in the evening the girls were watching Moana when someone knocked at the door. Aliyah felt suddenly nervous. She went to get it. A part of her hoping it was Haytham and a part of her saying it can't be.
"Oh, hi Hanif." She said feeling disappointed.
"Waaleikum salaam Aliyah." He said with a smile and that's when Aliyah realized she was frowning at him.
"Am sorry, am just a little off today." She said and showed him in but he refused to enter.
"I have a great surprise for you. You won't believe who is here." He said with a goofy grin on his face. Aliyah felt cold for a moment. Who could it be? Haytham? No, it can't be him. He doesn't want to see me anymore. If he did, he would have been here by now.
"Come on in, Sir." Hanif said and Aliyah watched nervously to see who it was.
"Aliyah." She could not believe it. Tears started streaming down her face immediately. He pulled her for a hug as tears started flowing. "I missed you so much."

Haytham was at the airport. He was angry at himself. He didn't want to face his problems. He preferred running away from it.
I will come back. He thought. I just need to think and I can't do it with her so close.
"Haytham." A smiling Bayden was standing in front of him from nowhere.
Oh Allah, is this my punishment from running away from my truth? Went the voice in his head.
"Hi and bye." He said and walked away.
"Haytham wait." She never gives up.
She ran behind him. She was surprisingly dressed in an Abaya and her hair was well covered.
"I just came to apologize." She shouted and he stopped.
"Forgiven for whatever so bye." He said hoping she would go away.
"Haytham, please I -"
"What Bayden, what?" He whisper/shouted at her.
"I ,,I uhh umm, I-" she was about to cry.
"If you can't speak up then leave me alone." He said that and regretted it immediately because she started crying and everyone was looking at them.
Bayden was always stalking him and he would always be rude to her but she had never cried in front of him before.
"Seriously, Bayden. You are crying?" He couldn't believe it.
"Am sorry." She said wiping away her tears and ran away.
Haytham stood there for a few seconds. He ran his fingers through his hair.
"Darn it!" He cursed under his breath and ran after her.
"Bayden wait." He called her. She stiffened. "Am sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry."
She simply nodded without even looking back and kept on walking.
"Bayden wait," he felt that wasn't enough.
"Hmmm." She could barely talk.
"Coffee?" He asked and handed her a tissue. She smiled. All she ever wanted is for Haytham to look at her differently but he hated her even more every time he saw her. For the first time ever he was actually nice to her.
She nodded and they walked to a cafe, each absorbed in their own thoughts.
They bought their coffee and walked back to the waiting room."Am sorry if I have been a jerk but you have to admit you have been pretty annoying." He said and she laughed.
"I know I have been a little annoying." She said putting a lot of weight on 'a little.'
"A little?" Haytham smiled.
"Okay, I have been really annoying." She agreed with him. "And that's why I am here. I came to apologize for stalking you."
"The fact that you accept your mistakes makes it all okay." Haytham said and she nodded.
"So this Abaya thing had become a part of you now?" He asked.
"Yea, I kinda like it and I wanna be a better Muslimah." She said and he nodded. "Oh and I told your Mom the truth. She was pretty mad at me for lying to her but she eventually forgave me."
"That was a brave thing to do." He said.
"You see, I was obsessed with you. Your rugged look and carelessness made me go nuts. I was that kinda girl who always got what she wanted but I couldn't get you."
"But we are cool now, right?" He raised his eyebrows. "No more following me around?"
She nodded.
"Wait, what time is it?" He asked.
"It's a quarter past six." She said and he freaked out.
"I have missed my flight." He said and she laughed at the look on his face. "You are laughing at the fact that I have missed my flight!"
"No, it's just that you seemed kinda happy that you missed it." She said with a smile on her face.
"I did?"
"Yea, maybe you shouldn't go yet." She said and he smiled.
"You are right Bayden." He carried his bag and ran towards the exit. "Thank you." He shouted on his way out.
Bayden sat there for a few minutes and cried. She was glad she fell in love but she was sad she fell in love with the wrong person.
