Rita laughed at Jaffar when he walked in. He was a bloody mess. He groaned and lay on the sofa.

"Got hit by a truck?" She laughed so hard.

"Call Aliyah." He whispered. Aliyah was shocked at the sight of his bloody face.

"What happened to you?" Her eyes were wide open. She knew she should be so happy he was in such a state but she felt sorry for him.

"Rita get the first aid kit and give her. You may leave, I wanna talk to her." He ignored Aliyah.

"Aye aye Boss." She did as she was told.

"You are drunk?" Aliyah noticed. "Did you get into an accident?"

"I didn't know you have a boyfriend." His eyes was blazing with anger.

"A boyfriend?" She chuckled. "I don't do dating, it's harram."

"Then who was that guy?"

"What guy?"

"The one I just got into a fight with?"

Looks more like you got your ass kicked by him. Aliyah thought  but didn't  dare say it.

"I don't know what you are talking about." She said and walked away.

"Come back here. He did this to me because of you so now you will clean it up."

Aliyah sat on the coffee table and cleaned his wounds. She accessed the situation. Rita had just left, Richo ( who is the scariest of them all) has not been around for a while and Jaffar was in no position to ran after her if she tries to run.

Ya Rabb please don't let them catch me. She prayed silently and decided to try her luck.

"I will go get you some painkillers from the drawer." She got up and he didn't stop her. She knew that was her only chance to get away and so she tried.

His head was aching and he had a black eye.  Every part of him hurt and he knew he needed the painkillers.

Five minutes later she was still not back and he was getting impatient.

"Aliyah." No answer.

"Aliyah." Still no answer. He dragged himself off the couch and looked for her. She was gone.

Hanif, Jamal, Haytham, the girls from the Daawah group , Isabelle, Drex and Bernie sat on a large dining table. They were waiting for Marla to pick up the call.

Ever since his encounter with Jaffar, Haytham was worried about Aliyah. He might take out his anger on her. They had to get his address right then. They called Marla and promised her more money.

It was exactly half an hour since she said she will find out and inform them right away. She made Haytham promise not to involve the police. Haytham agreed because even he wanted to finish this on his own way, even if it meant one of them might end up dead.

"I told you to be patient." Marla loved the attention she was getting.

"Just tell us where she is." He retorted.

"I will text you the address." She said and all the men took their coats ready to go. Isabelle ran after them.

"Where do you think you are going?" Drex asked her.

"I am coming with you guys. I am her best friend." She got out and ran to the parking lot before anyone could protest.

"Hanif." An unfamiliar voice called his name. He turned around and came face to face with one of the girls from the Daawah
Group. He looked at her and realised he  had never seen her before.

"Yes." Jade couldn't look at him. She was not sure why she even called his name.

"Be careful." She said and he smiled. Amina and the other girls understood.

"I will, thank you." He  said and was about to leave but stopped at the door. "I am sorry, I didn't get your name."

Jade was dumbfounded. She tried to speak but couldn't.

"She has sent the address. Come on let's go." Jamal called and Hanif ran outside.

They couldn't believe Jaffar was keeping Aliyah in  LA. They thought she was out of town. Even Aliyah thought she was out of town since they drove her around for hours just to make her think they were out of town.

Hold on Aliyah, we are on our way. Haytham thought with a smile on his face.

Just a thirty minute drive and they will get to their destination according to the GPS. Isabelle, who was sitting on the backseat of the minivan with Drex , was so anxious.

"Calm down, she will be fine." Drex whispered and she took a deep breath.

She couldn't wait to give Jaffar a piece of her mind.
