Isabelle and the guys arrived at Jaffar's house. They were surprised to find the door wide open.
"They are not here." Drex said. "That dude can't be stupid enough to keep her in place like this."
"Yes I mean look, the door was wide open." Jamal agreed. Haytham didn't say a word. He just looked around the living room. He didn't hear a thing they were saying, he was thinking of something else.
"Haytham, let's go." Hanif who had given up said.
"She is here." Isabelle spoke surprising everyone expect Haytham.
"Yea, I can smell Jasmines. I could never forget that smell." Haytham said subconsciously.
"Aliyah!" Isabelle shouted.

Jaffar was still holding Aliyah's hair and she was struggling out of his grip. She fought him with a strength she had no idea was within her. He was getting rougher with her. The more she struggled, the more he tightened his grip on locks of her hair.
"Aliyah!" She thought she was hearing things when she heard Isabelle's voice calling her name. She would have agreed that she was going nuts but the look on Jaffar's face made her realise that Isabelle was there.
"Isabelle!" She shouted at the top of her lungs.
💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮
"Isabelle!" They all stared at each other for a moment. Isabelle ran towards one of the rooms and opened it while the guys checked the other rooms. None of them could find her yet they could hear her voice. Haytham's anger reached a dangerous level. All he wanted to do is rip Jaffar apart."Jaffar, you coward!" He shouted angrily. "I will kill you once I get my hands on you."
Hanif opened the closet in one of the bedrooms and saw Jaffar and Aliyah. He had his hand on her mouth. Hanif felt his adrenaline burning. Before he even realized what he was doing Jaffar was on the floor trying to block his face from being hurt like earlier.
A fuming Haytham literally carried Hanif off Jaffar and started pounding him.
Isabelle hugged Aliyah so tightly she begged her to stop. She took off her hooded jumper and made her wear it. Aliyah tied her hair into a messy bun and used the hood to cover her hair. Isabelle hugged her again and both of them started crying.
"I missed you so much Hayati." Isabelle said amidst sobs.
"Hayati?" Aliyah chuckled.
"My brother calls me that and it's too sweet for me, so now it's yours." She said and they finally stopped hugging each other.
Aliyah finally started seeing what was going on around her. Jaffar was a bloody mess and Haytham was still punching him. Aliyah felt remorse for him.
"Please tell him to stop." She told Jamal who simply shrugged his shoulder. Hanif was burning with rage, Aliyah didn't want to even approach him.
"Stop, that's enough!" Aliyah said but Haytham didn't even pause to look at her.
"You are gonna kill him, please stop." She tried again but Haytham had turned into an animal and all he wanted to do is kill Jaffar.
"Please someone stop him!" Aliyah shouted. Isabelle was having fun watching him being beaten but she was scared for a moment that Haytham might actually be trying to kill him.
"Okay Haytham that's enough." Isabelle said and tried to push him off Jaffar but Drex held her back.
"What is wrong with you people?" Aliyah was shocked at their reaction. "Are you going to sit back and watch as he kills him?"
"Yes." Drex said.
"Tots." Jamal smiled.
"I would have killed him but Haytham really wants to do it." Hanif surprised even himself when he said that.
Aliyah's eyes went wide open. She couldn't believe them.
"Relax," Jamal smiled. "We were just km kidding. Of course we will stop him."
"Alhamdullilah." Aliyah took a deep breath.
"Right after he loses a tooth." Jamal added and Aliyah sighed.
"Fine, I will stop him." She stood behind him and looked at Jaffar with a mixed emotions of anger and pity.
You are a jerk but I am still helping you. She couldn't believe what she was doing. She should have let him pay for what he had done to her but Aliyah was taught that forgiveness is very important. She might never forget what he did to her but she knew she could forgive him. If Allah forgives millions of people everyday and forgives her for her mistakes, who was she not to forgive?
"Haytham." She called his name out loud for the first time since she saw him and it came with some relief.
He froze with another punch midair. For a moment it felt so still and silent, you'd think they were the only ones on earth. All that could be heard was Haytham's breathing and Aliyah was afraid her heartbeat could be heard. Her heart was threatening to fly out of her chest.
He turned around with his eyes fixed on the ground. He didn't want to look at her. He was afraid he would lose himself and do something he was sure both of them needed but would be wrong.
Aliyah was staring at his bloody knuckles unable to shit her gaze to anything else. She was afraid of herself. Afraid of the past and afraid for the future.
"We meet again." It was Haytham who finally spoke. Trying hard not wrap her in his arms.
"Haytham Ali." She tried hard not to cry.
"Aliyah Amin." He smiled genuinely.
The old Aliyah and Haytham would have been in each others arms by now but they have grown up and Loved Allah and Jannah more than they loved each other. Although none of them would say it, they both knew their Jannah would be incomplete without each other. So they prayed for each other even when they were afraid they might never see each other again.
