"My son can be very irresponsible sometimes." The old was making a small conversation with Aliyah. "I am surprised you agreed to get married to him."
He looked at Jaffar's angry face and laughed. "Look at him. Always a baby."
"Dad, I didn't come here to be teased like a child." He groaned and Aliyah found a loophole.
"But you are his child." She smiled at him.
"Alhamdullilah I don't have to deal with his childishness anymore." The old man laughed so hard he started coughing. Jaffar got to his feet and gave him a glass of water. Aliyah watched as he made his father drink it.
So he does have a heart? He loves his father. Aliyah thought while staring at them.
"Your father couldn't believe me when I called to inform him that you two got married." He said and looked at Aliyah. "I know my son isn't the best but Walhi, there is some good on him. He might not believe it but I do."
Aliyah looked at Jaffar. He was staring at his father. For a moment she felt sorry for him. Looking at his ever sad face, she wondered what made him this jerk he is today. He looked at Aliyah and found her starring at him. There eyes locked for a moment then his phone started ringing.
"Excuse me." He walked outside the room and Aliyah got an idea.
"Can I use the phone. I have to call my father." She gave him a smile.
"Oh no my child." She felt her heart sink. " this is your home, feel free to do whatever you want. "
She was so happy she felt like dancing. She ran to the phone and called the first number that came to her mind.
"Hello."
"Isabelle!" She almost shouted.

"Aliyah!" Isabelle shouted and Amina ran to her and made her put the phone on speaker.
"I got kidnapped." Aliyah was barely breathing.
"We know dummy." Isabelle was always crazy. "Get to the part where you tell us where you are being held."
"I don't know. I am in some fancy house outside the town." Aliyah was so afraid of being heard she was whispering.
"Aliyah!" Isabelle heard a man's voice calling Aliyah and she felt scared. Aliyah has been caught.
"Jaffar." Aliyah said and Isabelle finally found out who had kidnapped her.

"Jaffar." Aliyah felt nauseated.
"Who did you call?" He grabbed her arm and pushed her against the wall. "Speak up woman, who did you call?"
"Uuh I ..." She was so scared she couldn't say a word.
"Aliyah please tell me the truth. Who did you call? I really don't wanna hurt you." He said the words slowly, trying to take control of himself.
"No one, it couldn't get through." She lied and he lost it. He was about to punch her right in the face but she ducked. His fist met with the wall. At that point she was already crying.
"For the last time Aliyah, who did you call?" He said through clenched jaws. Aliyah was so scared she didn't know what to do. "Speak up or I swear you won't like what I will do."
Aliyah has never felt this desperate in her whole life before. He raised his fist and before he could hit her she jumped right into his arms, crying. She knew it was wrong of her but she had to.
Jaffar sighed. For a split second all his anger was gone. The anger he felt because of Marla calling and blackmailing him and Aliyah attempting to make a call, it all just disappeared.
"Come on," his voice was calm as he pushed her away. "Let's go home."
He held her wrist and she tagged along.
They left without saying a word to his father. The old man pretended he didn't see a thing. He will intervene only when he has to. For now he was going to let his son realise his mistakes and fix them.

Haytham and Hanif started looking for Jaffar immediately. Haytham was so angry Jamal was afraid he could kill Jaffar if he finds him.
His father was a rich man so they looked up all of his properties, trying to find out where Jaffar was holding Aliyah.
That night he got a call from an anonymous person. She was asking him for money in exchange for information. He agreed to pay as much as she wants for as long as the information is true.
That night they all slept with a little hope that this time, they will find Aliyah.
Aliyah too was glad she talked to Isabelle. Jaffar didn't raise his hand on her nor did he try anything stupid."Alhamdullilah." Three souls whispered that night. All with a little hope in their hearts.
