⚡ Hollows and Danger ⚡

//Enoch's POV\\

By the time me, Emma and Jake entered the parlor we saw Horace and Hugh struggling with a black leather couch. We had a lot of tools in our hand. Bronwyn approached Horace and Hugh and shoved them out of the way. "Quickly!" Miss Avocet exclaimed. Bronwyn pushed the couch to where we just exited and Jake closed the door and Bronwyn placed the couch in front. We started handing out the tools. Claire climbed on top of the orange couch with a serious look on her face. She held a crowbar. Horace stood beside her with a black stick in his hand. Bronwyn stood next to Claire. Hugh stood next to Bronwyn. The Twins stood upfront.

"Fiona!" Emma exclaimed tossing a couple of weapons for her to give. "Got it!" Fiona exclaimed. She handed the weapons to Olive who grabbed one and gave the other one to Millard. "Miss Avocet!" Jake exclaimed. He tossed her Miss Peregrine's crossbow. I held a pitchfork and The Twins held a huge shovel. Fiona held nunchucks and Emma held a garden hoe. "Now, Children," Miss Avocet began. "Now that you're all here, there's a few rules," Miss Avocet continued. "Your primary job is to stay safe," Miss Avocet said. "Leave the Hollow to me," she added. "I don't want to see any heroics!" Miss Avocet exclaimed. "Now those of you with garden tools I must insist that you..." Miss Avocet didn't get to finish. We heard a loud growl then Miss Avocet was yanked backwards and crashed through a wooden wall.

All the girls shrieked. Everyone raised their weapons. Jake ran forward and grabbed the crossbow. When he did he looked at where Miss Avocet was snatched at. Aiming the crossbow at that one spot. Everyone looked around to see if they could find the Hollow. Jake saw the Hollow appear from the right side. We heard a bunch of smashing and growling. The Hollow was trying to get in. Jake got up and The Twins hugged each other. I looked over at Olive. She was watching Jake being a hero. Ughh! I know that Jake is trying to impress Emma but he's also impressing Olive, I thought. I looked at Olive then at Jake. Here's my chance! Sure me and Olive got in a fight but that doesn't mean I don't still care for her! If I don't do something then I'll lose Olive, I thought.

So I did. I shoved Jake away. And by away I mean behind me. "No, Enoch. Get Back!" Jake exclaimed. I turned my attention to Jake so I turned around. I don't know why. The Hollow was still smashing stuff. Before I knew it the Hollow had grabbed the table I was behind and threw it aside. The Hollow's tentacles picked me up. "Whoa!" I shouted. I heard Fiona scream.

//Olive's POV\\

Enoch pushed Jake out of the way. "No, Enoch. Get Back!" Jake exclaimed. He turned around and before he knew it the Hollow picked up the table that Enoch was behind and threw it aside. The Hollow then grabbed Enoch. Fiona screamed. Enoch struggled to whack the Hollow. Bronwyn held on to Hugh and Claire held his hand. Bronwyn held on Emma's arm as Emma stood in front of them. Claire's mouth was open in terror everyone was scared. Jake aimed his crossbow. Do not miss, otherwise you'll shoot Enoch, I thought.

Before Jake could shoot the Hollow, it kept a tight grip on Enoch. The Hollow flung him through the glass window breaking it. The Twins watched while holding on to each other. Jake aimed the crossbow at the Hollow again and The Hollow flung Enoch into a mirror making the glass to break into a million pieces. Jake aimed the crossbow at The Hollow again and then the Hollow flung him into a picture that was in a frame that was hung on the wall which broke in half. Jake aimed the crossbow again at The Hollow. "Go! Get to the attic!" Jake exclaimed to us.

"Come on!" Emma exclaimed. Bronwyn made her way to the door behind the couch and she broke it open. She climbs over the couch and into the main hall. I gave Millard a friendly push to help him get passed me. Hugh climbed over the couch and into the main hallway. "Here take her," Emma said picking up Claire and handing her to Hugh. Fiona climbed over and followed so did Horace. I couldn't move I was frozen in place. The first time I left someone behind they died and I'm not going to let it happen again. The Hollow's tentacles began to make it's way towards Enoch's eyes. His beautiful chocolate brown eyes. He also began choking Enoch.
