Today is still September 3rd 1943. All day everyday. I woke up and changed into my everyday outfit. Last night Olive scared me. I started thinking about things. Am I falling in Love? I just couldn't find the answer. Olive is my friend. She's also my assistant. I couldn't possibly be falling in love. Could I?

I knocked on Olive's door. "I'm almost done," Olive said. When she got dressed in her normal outfit she left her room and closed her door behind her. "Oh, Hi Enoch!" Olive exclaimed. "Ya okay?" I asked her. "Yeah why?" She asked. "Ya look pale," I replied. "I'm okay," Olive said. "If ya say so," I said to Olive. We walked downstairs and into the dining room. "Morning Enoch! Morning Olive!" Fiona exclaimed. "Morning," I said. "Morning," Olive said. Fiona just smiled.

For breakfast we had waffles with butter and strawberry syrup. It was the best breakfast ever. After breakfast it was time for our daily walk. Me and Olive put away all the dishes. Miss Peregrine grabbed her crossbow because the hollow would appear 10 minutes after we got back from our daily walk. We now live in a loop where everything that happens, happens at a specific time and we can be prepared for when it does happen.

We went on our daily walk and Emma disappeared again.  Not Again! I thought. Doesn't matter not going to look for her again not after what happened yesterday. When we got back from our daily walk, Emma was already waiting for us. Strange! Miss Peregrine led us inside the house and she stood out in the middle of the green grass. We then saw something moving in the grass and Miss Peregrine looked at her pocket watc,h then at the hollow, then her pocket watch, then back at the hollow.

She held up her crossbow and shot it just beneath the neck. I think. I can't tell because their invisible and nobody could see them except Abe. We heard a growl and then something big collapsed on the ground and Miss Peregrine held her cross bow over her shoulder and walked towards the front door. "Okay children, now that, that is taken care of, how about we go play in the living room," Miss Peregrine said.

All of us kids went to the living room and hung out. It didn't take long before the doorbell rang. We all grew silent. Nobody ever rung our doorbell. Nobody. Miss Peregrine put her finger up to her mouth signalling for us to stay quiet. She left to answer the door. "Delivery for Miss Peregrine," a man asked. "That is me," Miss Peregrine said to the mail man. "Got letters for ya! LOTS of them," he said. We heard the door shut and Miss Peregrine came in carrying a big bag full of letters. "You guys got mail!" Miss Peregrine exclaimed.

Everybody rushed to get their mail. I got up and went over to the bag. Miss Peregrine handed me my mail. I took one look from the cover of the envelope and automatically looked away. It was from my parents. Why? Why them? I thought. Olive didn't look too happy either. I opened my envelope and began reading it.

My darling Enoch, We're so sorry that we never loved you. You were just so normal until you realized you had a peculiarity. You were so innocent and to actually believe you could raise the dead was so creepy. We didn't want people to know is as the 'Parents of the kid who could raise the dead.' We're really sorry Enoch.

You didn't have to run away, but you did anyways. As pathetic, gross, disturbing and creepy your peculiarity is, we still love you Enoch! We know you hate us so much right now but we want you to come home. We miss you! Things haven't been the same without you! We are so sick of pretending not to. Please Enoch! Think about it! We want you to come home! Besides it's not like some girl is ever going to want you with that peculiarity of yours. That's why it's best for you to come home. Please take this into consideration.

ME go home with THEM. They are insane, if they think I'm going back into their lives. They never loved me, otherwise they would of stopped me from leaving. But did they? NO! They let me run away. I won't go home if they are gonna keep pushing me down instead of encouraging me.

Olive didn't look to happy either. She came up to me with tears in her eyes. She hugged me and sobbed. "Olive what's wrong?" I asked. She got a letter and she handed it to me for me to read.

My Sweet Angel, I'm not trying to worry you but I'm sick and if I don't get better I may die. But that's beside the point. I'm so sorry that Tabitha sold you to the children's home. I did it to protect you. You will always be my sweet angel. No matter what Tabitha says or thinks. I love you Olive. I know you made new friends there at the children's home, but I want you to come home. Tabitha doesn't but I do. Hope You Understand! The choice is up to you my dear Olive.

Her dad is dying! That's not good! We heard a scream. Emma was bouncing with joy. "It's a letter from Abe!" Emma exclaimed. Everybody gathered around Emma. Emma began reading it silently. A tear rolled down her cheek and she ran out the room. "Emma! What's wrong?" Olive asked. Only one way to find out, I thought. I picked up the letter and read it to everybody. "Dear Miss Peregrine and everybody at the children's home, It's me Abe. I just wanted to let ya guys know that I am at the airbase and I am safe. Oh by the way I met a very beautiful girl. Her name is Lidia and we are married. We have 2 beautiful children. I attached some photos to this letter.

Their names are Franklin Portman and Susie Portman. They are a bundle of joy and I feel like my life is complete! Please tell Emma that I'm sorry. I feel proud of helping out my country by protecting them. Well I'll write again soon! I have to get back to work and my kids! Bye!

"Aww he has kids! I hope they are peculiar like us!" Claire exclaimed. "But poor Emma," Bronwyn said. "Yeah, I'm going to go check on her," Olive said. She rushed after Emma and it all went  silent. Emma was happy we got a letter from Abe but she didn't expect Abe to get married and have children. She just got her heart crushed into a million pieces AGAIN.
