"Jess, time for school!" Christy yelled from downstairs. "I pulled the covers off of me and stumbled out of bed. after I got ready I went downstairs for breakfast. Ron and jake were stuffing every piece of food into their mouths. "pigs" I whispered. "c'mon guys, save some for Jess" Christy said. "whatever" jake replied. Christy placed a bowl of cereal in front of me. "see you mom!" Ron and jake said as they ran out to their cars. I got up and put my bowl into the sink. "Jess before you go," Christy said. "take these" she placed car keys in my hand. "your car keys?" I said. "no, yours" she replied. "really!" I said hugging her. I ran into the garage and saw my brand new car. I hoped in and drove off to school.
"Hey Jess" I turned to see my best friend Kendal. "hey Kendal" I replied. we walked to our class and took our seats. the bell finally rang and the classroom filled up with people. I jumped out of my seat when the bell rang and headed to my next class. "hey Jess do you have the math homework?" Liz asked. "ya, one sec" I replied pulling my math binder out. "thanks" she said taking it out of my hand and tossing it in the trash. "hey why'd you!" I started. "what are you going to do about it Jess? no one cares if you get hurt" she shot. I remained silent. "that's what I thought" Liz said walking away. I grabbed my math binder from the trash and continued with the rest of the day.
