JESS' POV
" wake up Jess," Ron shook me gently. "What?" I opened my eyes. "graduation day little sis" he smiled. "graduation day" I repeated. "we have to leave soon, so get yourself ready" he said, leaving the room. I pushed the blankets off of me and began to get ready.
KENDAL'S POV
My hair was perfectly curled and pinned back on my head. I pulled the dress over my head and zipped it up. I stepped into my heels and walked into the living room. "I'm ready" I said to my waiting boyfriend. "ok, I am t-" he turned, his mouth dropping open, eyeing me. "you look absolutely breathtaking" he smiled. "same to you mr. Payne" I returned the smile. "shall we?" he took my hand and lead me to the car. "I can't wait to get on that stage and get my diploma" I said, breaking the silence. "Ya, you're almost there" he said. just as he said that, we pulled into the school parking lot.
JESS' POV
I waited in my seat for the principle to call my name. Kendal sat down next to me and smiled. "Riley D." she called. Riley made her way up to the stage and shook everyone's hands and took her diploma. she bowed and walked off the stage. "Kendal F." she announced. Kendal got out of her seat and walked up to the stage, repeating what Riley did. shaking hands, taking the diploma, bowing, and exiting off the side off the stage. "Jessica S." they finally called. I stood up and walked onto the stage. I shake all of my teachers hands, take my diploma and step off the stage.
"That is your graduating class!" the principle concluded. we all jumped up and threw our hats into the air. We all went outside to find our families and friends. "Jessica!" Louis startled me, hugging me from behind. "you're a high school graduate" he continued. "glad to see you too" I smiled, wiggling out of his grip. we turned to Liam and Kendal, who were kissing. "why aren't they married yet?" I smiled. "question is, why aren't we?" he said, pecking me on the lips. "Hey Jess" someone said. "Ryan" Louis growled. "I don't want to cause trouble, I just want to apologize for what I did. I'm sorry, I really am." Ryan said. "There's cake waiting for all of you back at the house" my mom interrupted us. she looked at Ryan. "you can come too if you'd like" she offered. "he's not a friend" I said. "ok, well, congrats then" she said to Ryan then we all left.
There is only one more chapter left until the end of the book! 😄 There is going to be a sequel, it's called "through the dark" and it will be published shortly after voices is completed. I'll let you know when it's out. Also,if you could give me some feedback on my books I would really appreciate it :)
