JESS' POV
"Ready to go?" Louis called from the kitchen. "Yes," I said sitting up from the couch. I had put on a blue knee length dress and put my hair in a braid. "You look great," Louis said walking into the living room. "You too," I said, admiring his tux. "Liam said that they are already at the restaurant" Louis said. "Lets go then" I said leading him out the door.
Liam and Kendal were seated at a booth, we sat down next to them. "You guys look great" I complimented. "Thanks you guys too" Kendal smiled. "So, how was everyones day?" Liam asked. "It was great" Louis said. "Ours too" Kendal said. After we finished our dinners, we payed the check and left.
"That was fun," I said to Louis as we walked into his house. "Ya it was" he said. "You can sleep on the couch, i'll get you a blanket" Louis said leaving the room. I went to the bathroom and changed out of my dress and put on shorts and a t- shirt and threw my hair in a messy bun. I walked into the living room and laid down on the couch. Minutes later Louis came and put a blanket over me. "Goodnight beautiful" he said placing a kiss on my forehead. "Goodnight" I replied.
I woke up at the sound of thunder outside. I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep, not wanting to bother Louis at three in the morning. There was another boom of thunder. My head was now under the blanket, trying to block out the terrifying noise. The thunder echoed through the house. I jumped up from the couch and rushed to Louis room. "Louis?" I said tapping him on the shoulder. "Hmm?" He said, turning to face me. "I couldn't sleep" I said. Another boom of thunder came. I jumped from the noise. "You're afraid of thunder?" Louis asked. I nodded in reply. "Come here" he said, patting the space next to him on the bed. I climbed into the bed and pulled the covers over me. I noticed a metal bracelet on his wrist. "What's that?" I said pointing to it. "Everyone who is trapped here has one, once you're free and out in the real world, it's removed." He explained. "Oh" I said. "are you cold?" He asked, noticing I was shivering. "A little" I said. Louis pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arms around me. "Thanks Louis" I said, drifting off to sleep.
