Chapter 28

JESS' POV

"I'll be back Jess! I have to run to the store" Christy said walking out the door. Ron and jake were out at the skate park and I was alone. I heard a faint knock at the door. I opened it to a smiling Louis. "hey Louis" I said. "hey" he replied. "can I come in?" he asked. "yes, of course" I said gesturing him inside. "Jess!" Kendal yelled from outside the back door. I opened it and let my friend in. "Kendal, please, what's wrong?" I asked. "can I talk to you. alone?" she said, I led her up to my bedroom, leaving Louis downstairs. "Liam, he, he's doing what Niall was doing that one night.... the dark, the needy dark Jess" she hesitated. "he told you he wanted to?" I said, shock clear in my voice. "he said he wanted to feel closer to me. he had me pinned against the wall Jess" she said. "what did you do?" I asked. " I ran to the spare room and told him to get out" she said, a tear rolling down her cheek. Suddenly we heard a sound from downstairs.

"Hey man, what are you doing here?" I heard Louis say from downstairs. "where is she? I need to talk to her" Liam's voice filled the house. "he's here" Kendal cried. "Dude, calm it, your eyes" Louis said. "fine, don't tell me where she is, i'll find her myself" Liam snapped, his heavy steps now leading up the stairs. my bedroom door burst open and there stood Liam.

KENDAL'S POV

"Kendal, thank god you're here" he said. "get away" I said. "I need to talk to you, please, just let me explain" he pleaded. "please leave me alone" I begged. "but, I love you" he said, his voice barely a whisper. "I you love me, then you'll give me some space" I said. "I can't give you space Kendal, I wouldn't live a day without you. c'mon babe, you know I can't control it, its not on purpose I swear" Liam said. "Just go" I said. hurt flashed across his eyes. "fine" he huffed, and turned away and left.
