JESS' POV

"I should go" Kendal said walking to the door. "are you sure?" I said. "ya, I need to get home anyways" she assured me. "alright, get home safely" I said. "I will, thanks" she said.

"I'll be right back" Louis said, going into the bathroom. There was a loud knock at the door. "Liam, Kendal's not here" I said opening the door. but it was Liam, it was Ryan. "who's Liam?" He asked. "a friend" I said. "You seem to have a lot of friends lately, Jess" he shot. "ya, I met them at a party" I lied. "why the hell were you at a party?" he said. "the night you hit me" I said, sounding harsher than intended. "oh, you mean the night you went with that dick and cheated on me!" he was yelling now. "Harry's not a dick, you are!" I snapped. " He punches me, and you left with him!" he said. "I'd rather leave with someone who protected me than someone who hit me!" I replied. "What's with all the yelling?" Louis said entering the room, his eyes going wide at the sight of Ryan in my house. "Of course! of course theres a guy here!" Ryan laughed. "Why do you even care!?" Louis yelled. "she's my girlfriend!" Ryan replied. "No she's my girlfriend" Louis said. "you know what Jess? you're not only a loser, you're also a slut!" Ryan shot. I felt tears forming at the words. "she is not!" Louis defended me. "ya, she deserved that slap in the face!" Ryan said, immediately covering his mouth afterwords. "you what?" Louis said, his hands balled into fists at his sides. "Nothing man" Ryan said, suddenly seeming afraid of Louis. "no, I want to know, did u hit her!" Louis yelled. "ya, I hit her. she was going out with another guy and was being disrespectful!" Ryan said, the fear towards Louis seeming to decrease. "He was my friend" Louis snapped. "ya, and he was with my girlfriend!" Ryan said. "you don't even love her" Louis shot. Ryan's mouth dropped open. "ya I do" he said. "don't play stupid Ryan, I know you're using her" Louis said. "how- how'd you?" Ryan hesitated. "I'm smart that's how, unlike you" Louis snapped. My mouth dropped. "you-you were?" I stuttered. "Ya," Ryan said, keeping his head down. "she's talking to you!" Louis said, lifting Ryan's head up I look at me. "yes, I don't love you, it was a joke, a dare, we were going to humiliate you then I was going to break up with you" Ryan admitted. "Leave Ryan" I demanded. "I'm not leaving" he argued. "she said leave" Louis said. "so what are you now, her protector" Ryan shot. "yes, now leave" Louis said pushing his towards the door. "don't push me" Ryan said pushing Louis back. "you and Jess are over," Louis said. "fine, you can have the slut" Ryan said opening the door. Louis grabbed his shoulder and turned Ryan to face him. "what the hell?" Ryan started. Louis swung at Ryan, hitting him in the jaw. "Don't call her that" Louis said. "I can call her what ever I want to" Ryan said, swinging back at Louis. before I knew it they were on the floor hitting each other. "stop it!" I couldn't even recognize my own voice. the front door swung open, revealing jake and Ron. "woah, what's going on?" Ron said. "please get them to stop" I pleaded. jake and Ron pulled Louis and Ryan apart. "it's over, now leave" I said to Ryan. he stormed out, slamming the door behind him.

"Louis I-"

"I need to go" Louis cut me off. "Are you sure?" I asked, "ya," he said walking out the front door.
