KENDAL'S POV
The cave disappeared behind us as we stepped the through the door. I looked around and saw what looked like a normal environment. Jess and I started walking, hoping to find someone who could help us. "you there! what is your business?" someone called. a tall man with a uniform was standing behind us. "we, we're here to see someone" I hesitated. "Name?" he said. "what?" I asked. "what is you're name?" he repeated. "I'm- I'm Kendal, and this is Jess" I stuttered. "Are you on the list?" he asked. "list?" Jess said. "Yes, the list" he said, now getting annoyed. "I- I don't know" I said. he looked down at the clipboard in his hands. "nope, I don't see you here" he said looking up at us. "we need to pass please, just for a minute," Jess begged. "I'm going to have to take you two in" he said. "what? no!" Jess argued. "C'mon" he said grabbing our wrists. "I have to see him, please just let me see him!" Jess said, attempting to pull away from him. "Hey, what are you doing?" someone said. "I need to take these two in, they're not on the list" the guard replied. I tried to see who it was but I couldn't. "they're with me, I've been expecting them" the other guy said. the guard let us go. "you're lucky" he smiled. I turned away from the guard and looked at the stranger. my eyes began to water. "hello, love" Liam smiled.
