FRIDAY NIGHT(dance night)
JESS' POV
"Sorry Kendal, I'm not going" I said. "Why" she replied. "I just don't want to go" I said. "So you're just going to spent Friday night alone?" Kendal said. "Don't worry, I won't be alone" I said smiling. "I don't know what you're talking about, but ok" Kendal replied hanging up. "Why don't you go?" Louis said. "What, you don't want to be stuck with me all night?" I joked. "I love hanging out with you, it's just that you deserve a night out with you're friends" Louis said. "What friends?" I said sadly. "Cheer up, everyone's missing out on a wonderful, charming, beautiful girl" he said. "Thanks Louis," I blushed. "Now go get ready, you have a dance to go to" Louis said. I called Kendal and told her I was on my way to the dance. She screamed through the phone.
I stepped out of my bathroom, all ready. "You look great" Louis said. "Thanks" I replied. My heels clicked on the staircase as I walked downstairs. "Wow, you look very nice Jess, where're you going?" Christy said. "I'm going to the school dance" I replied. "Christy I'm heading over to, woah, Jess, you look.... Different" Ron said walking into the kitchen. "She's going to her school dance" Christy said to Ron. Ron nodded in reply. I walked out to my car and drove to the school.
KENDAL'S POV
My eyes searched the room for Jess. "Hey, what's wrong?" Brad said. "Just looking for Jess" I replied. "Loser girl?" Brad said. "Don't call her that, she's not a loser" I snapped. " I'm sorry, can we just forget about her and dance?" Brad said. "Dance by yourself" I spat, leaving him alone on the dance floor. I finally saw her. "Jess!" I waved. She made her way over to me. "You look great Jess" I said. "Thanks, you too" she replied. "Well, we can't just stand here, lets dance!" I said pulling her onto the dance floor.
JESS' POV
"Lets dance!" Kendal said pulling me onto to the dance floor. As we were dancing Kendal's date, Brad, pulled Kendal aside. "I ll be right back" Kendal said. I nodded on reply. "Hey there beautiful" someone said. I turned to see Ryan . "Jess? Is that you?" He said. "Ya," I said quietly. "Well, let me just say, you look absolutely breathtaking" he smirked. "Told you" Louis said, making me giggle, "what's so funny?" Ryan asked, confused. "Nothing" I replied. "Wanna dance?" He said. "Sure" I replied. Suddenly a slow song came on. "May I have this dance?" Ryan said, offering his hand. I gladly took it and we began to slow dance. In the middle of the song he pulled me off the dance floor and into the hallway. "Jess, can I ask you something?" He said. I nodded my head slowly. "Well, everyone may think you're a loser, but tonight, tonight you proved that you're so much more. You're a beautiful girl Jess," he started. "Will you, go out with me?" He finished. "Yes" I said wrapping my arms around him. "Sorry," I said embarrassed of my actions. "It's fine" he said pushing a stand of hair behind my ear. He slowly leaned in and kissed me. "Wow" I said. "What?" He asked. "What, nothing!" I said a little too quickly. "Ya sure," he chuckled.
