LOUIS' POV
I have no clue where I'm going, but I need to get away. I don't want to hurt anyone else. I love Jess, but I don't want to hurt her. It's one thing to say that I can be scary, but I'm not scary, I'm dangerous. Having me around is like having a raptor as a pet.
"Hey man," someone said from behind me. "hi," I reply turning toward the guy. "What are you doing wondering the woods?' he asked. "just getting away" I sighed. "well, you can come back with me, there's a killer party tonight" he said. "ya sure," I agreed. "I'm Luke by the way" he smiled, making his lip piercing shine in the sunlight. "Louis" I responded. "well Louis, lets go, so you can meet the others" he said. "others?" I asked. "ya, lots of guardians are scattered around this area." he said. "you're a guardian?" I asked. "ya, you are too, I can tell" he replied. "we can talk later, let's get to the party" he continued. he lead me through the forest until we saw a small opening that lead to a huge house. "here we are, home sweet home" he announced. "You live here?" I asked in amazement. "ya, we all do" he replied. "you said you don't have a place right?" he continued. "ya, " I replied. "you can stay here if you'd like" he said. "that'd be great, thanks Luke" I smiled. "no prob, just promise you'll be at the party later" he said. I nodded in reply. "Lets go meet some people" he pulled me inside the big house. We approached a group of guys. "hey guys I want you to meet Louis" Luke said. they all turned to face me. One guy with dark hair stepped forward and said "hey, I'm Calum, nice to meet you Louis" "I'm Michael," another guy said. "I'm Ashton," the last guy smiled, his dimples showing. "Where'd you find this one Luke?" Calum asked. "out in the woods" Luke replied. "what were you doing out there?" Michael asked. "getting away" Luke answered for me, repeating my words. "Oh. well we were just going out into town if you want to come?". Ashton offered. "I don't- I started to answer. "ya, I'm in" I corrected myself. "great, c'mon" Ashton smiled.
We walked into the small shopping area in town. "Is that a tattoo parlor?" I asked, noticing the flashing sign. "ya, want to get one?" Michael suggested. "lets go" I said.
