In-tree-guing battle

Fight music!!!
The stomping came closer. Isa summoned thorned vines from the ground, ready to attack. Erza smeared goop onto her fingers, ready to smear onto the ground to summon more animals. Sans stood fists up, ready for a fight, veeeerry intimidating . From the distance, they saw a blur of green and brown. "Is, is that a tree." Said Isa, confused at this odd sight.

It was a huge tree, with spider-like roots carrying it towards them. It had gaping holes cut into the trunk which were supposed to resemble eyes and mouth. It had 3 branches swinging from each side like arms and hardly any leaves on its head, leaving the branches to look like horns. It let out a bloodcurdling screech. Sans looked a bit more hesitant at staying to fight. "Oh flapjacks." She whispered. It came at them. Erza smeared goop on the ground and summoned what looked like a fire penguin.

It was tiny and adorable, but it opened its mouth and sent fire toward the tree, while looking adorable. It groaned, but withstood the fire. Isa sent her vines towards the beast, piercing its hollow body. Apparently, it had no organs, it was just fine. It ripped out the vines and headed for them. They were having a bit more difficulty controlling this harmful majik and it barely missed hitting them several times.

Erza mounted Bella and rode forth. Bella leaped onto its long, root leg. She jumped from its different limbs. The tree started swatting Bella and her like a mosquito. It eventually swatted them off, onto the ground. Isa looked worried, but summoned giant Venus fly traps and launched them forward.

She hopped onto one and rode to it, the fly traps caught and held each limb in place. As Isa summoned more thorned vines, the tree broke free from the fly traps and grabbed Isa. It scuttled toward Erza to grab her to, but she pushed herself away. She climbed onto the back of the tree and left a smear of goop on her way down. She summoned green leeches that made the tree wither away quickly, but Erza's lack of control for this black majik ended up making them disappear in a puff of smoke. It then grabbed Erza It went for Sans next.

Sans panicked, looking for a weapon. She settled for a big branch laying near by. She would beat it with its own kind. Fire against fire. It was a wonderful idea."Sans!" Said someone from behind her.

Milly was running towards Sans with an axe blade in her big pocket along with arrows. She threw the blade like a frisbee toward Sans, very safe, who caught it, despite the large cut in her hand, which soon healed into a smile again. As soon as Sans grasped the axe, recognition flashed before her eyes, and the name Niki flashed in her head. Sans was transported into a room of white. She looked around for a second, wondering where she was, and saw a lady floating in the middle of the room. Sans approached her carefully. She had floating white hair, pale skin, red lips and closed eyes. She wore a black leotard with arm length fingerless gloves. On her head were long, black, intersecting horns with a white gem in the middle. As soon as Sans got close, her eyes shot open. They were pure white eyes that were suddenly filled with emotion. She looked at Sans in shock and confusion, then saw her gem. Tears sprouted from her eyes and she zoomed towards Sans and hugged her. Sans was about to retaliate when suddenly memories came flooding forwards of that woman, her being killed, and Sans being taken away by a blurry figure. "Mom?" Sans asked.

The lady then let go and looked Sans in the eye.

"Let me handle this." She said. Sans suddenly saw the room turn into her vision and the lady was able to look around. In real life, Sans' eyes turned the same white as the woman. After a few seconds, they realized the tree was scuttling towards her. She put a menacing grin on her face and charged towards it at an amazing speed. Just as she was about to run into it, there was a vwoosh sound and a flash of red, and she was gone.

Suddenly from the sides came another vwoosh sound, and powerful fire spurted from the ground, burning off the tentacle-like vines trapping Isa and Erza. The tree writhed in agony and sent two other arms towards the three of them. Sans lifted her hand and raised a wall of bones from the ground, blocking the branches. She teleported them away to a nearby tree. She summoned a single bone and put it through the axe as a handle, and gave it an impressive twirl. They looked at Sans in shock, but she just smiled a sharp-toothed smile and teleported back to the tree just as Isa began to heal Erza and herself.

Sans rolled up her sleeve to reveal black goop near her shoulder. It slithered down, and revealed more of it slithering down her arm. It hardened into scales and made a humongous, monsterous, black hand with long, red, sharp nails. She lunged toward the tree and ripped off two of its legs. She summoned another black hand and punched two more gaping holes in its face. "You mad?" She asked, swiftly dodging attacks.

"Well, hope your not, I'm just getting warmed up." Said Sans as she blasted fire from her hands directly at its eyes, filling the tree with flames. She teleported near the branches, and sliced them all off with an impressive maneuver with the axe. The tree simply grew them back. It lunged at her, but she was faster than it, dodging every hit.

"Wow, you're  a tough one, you're workin' me down to the bone" she said as she sent multiple bones flying at it like spears. "Boooooo!" She heard from the distance. Isa had finished healing Erza, and was currently healing herself, but stopped to heckle her horrid puns. While Sans was distracted, the tree took an opportunity and sent sharp-tipped branches at her. They grabbed her and left gaping cuts on her right thigh, her left arm, her neck, and lastly, the tree left a gash in her left eye.

Sans's strength outmatched the tree's, so she soon broke free from the branches, then the scars turned into smiles, including the one on her eye. Sans stood there, looked up at the tree, and opened every single one of her mouths. They let out a raspy laugh. Niki was furious at herself for letting that tree hurt her daughter."What's wrong, you look scared to death." She said, taking one final lunge at the tree, axe ready to slice it to pieces.

But the tree was ready. When she reached it, it smacked her away, all the way to where Isa and Erza were. By that time, both of them had been healed. They stood up to help Sans to her feet, who surprisingly, was completely fine. Sans teleported all of them back, and they attacked the tree from all angles.

But everyone was working separately. "Isa, summon a vine!" Yelled Sans. Isa summoned one, looking confused. "Erza, smother some goop on it." Sans screamed to Erza, who obliged. They looked confused when Sans set it on fire. "Now send it after the tree!" She yelled. Isa sent it and it pierced through the tree, lighting it on fire and weakening the thick wood. Now Erza summon the biggest animal you can think of!" Said Sans to Erza. They all understood her idea now, so Erza did it. Suddenly, the tree began to bloat. It remained resistant, but the fire had already thinned out its wood to much. A huge, pale pink whale exploded from within it. Splinters and leaves rained down everywhere, all three of them standing amidst it. They looked shocked at what they accomplished. Milly ran towards them. By the time she got to them she was huffing and puffing. She looked like she was going to say something, but remained silent, mouth agape.
