The next day Vortex woke them all up with her screeches as an alarm clock. After Tamshi finally got up and unlocked her cell, she dragged the trio out of bed, literally dragged them, Sans broke the bed post trying to stay in bed. They all showered and dressed for the possible jobs, except Sans. She was resistant and refused to do anything, as you can tell, she isn't much of a morning person. It took all of them to finally push her into the bath, fully clothed, so she was forced to put on something nice, *shudder*. After 10 minutes, a very upset Sans stepped out of the shower in jeans, ballet flats, and a nice shoulder showing sweater. Finally, Sans looked decent for the first time in a while. Sans teleported them to the village, and Tamashi almost threw up. Aghavni and Agnes were there waiting for them.
"Hello." Said Aghavni casually as Sans gave Agnes a hug and put her on her shoulder. "I wondered when you would eventually realize you need a job."
"Oh, we didn't, she did." Said Sans and stepped out of the way to reveal Vortex. Aghavni flinched a little at the sight of her and passerbys started to walk a little quicker. Vortex looked a little uncertain herself. "We cured her seething urge to murder with FRIENDSHIP!" Said Sans making exaggerated hand gestures.
"O-ok." Said Aghavni, not quite trusting Sans's judgement.
"We also adopted him." Said Sans pointing to Tamashi who gave a little wave. Aghavni looked concerned but decided to roll with it.
"Now go-erm- fellow peoples- and fight against the, err, forces of unemployment!" Said Aghavni and they split up in separate directions. Isa had a good idea of where she wanted to get a job. She asked passerbys where the hospital could be but they just looked at her in confusion. She sighed in defeat and was about to walk away when she noticed a small stump building with a help wanted sign on the outside. The entrance had multi colored crystals on the outside and yellow tinted windows. It was obviously a very old building.
She stepped inside and heard the sound of what seemed to be a broken bell and coughed as she breathed in dust. She looked around. There were all sorts of potions, crystals, and other oddities on shelves. She saw three beds on the other end of the room. It was a quaint little building and suddenly she heard the shuffling of feet. Suddenly from a door at the far end of the room came out a little old halfling. She had bunny ears sticking out of her pure white hair. She had pale skin and her eyes were a baby blue. She wore a pink dress with a cotton tail sticking out and little pink bunny slippers.
"Welcome!" She exclaimed in a weak, but loud voice. "I haven't had visitors in so long!" She had a big smile plastered on her wrinkled face.
"Um, I'm here about your wanted sign." Said Isa.
"Ah, ye-oopsie!" She said as she fell over. Isa quickly ran forward and caught her. "Thank you dearie." She said brushing off her dress. "But I'm afraid you may not want to accept the job."
"Why not?" She said, feeling concern for the woman.
"Well, I haven't had customers in so long, no one even knows I exist anymore, I can still heal, but doing daily chores such as cleaning has become such a hassle." She said looking sad.
                              "Erm, I can help."
"Really dearie!" She exclaimed with excitement.
                              "Sure!"
"Ooh thank you, what's your name?"
                              "Isa!"
"What a lovely name, mines is Bonnie!" Bonnie zoomed to the back and showed her around shop. Soon enough, they were getting to work. They dusted, sweeper, and did every other neglected chore. Isa put flowers all over the shop, and Bonnie clapped in delight. They polished the windows and sunlight slowly filtered through. Soon, the shop was in mint condition. Bonnie said she hadn't felt this happy since she got the shop. Soon enough, someone walked into the shop. He was a fox halfling.
