A series of awkward events

The past few chapters have been all pretty much angst and sadness, so my friend gave me a wonderful idea to stop being emo and make a stupid chapter that's dumb but also makes progression in the story. Enjoy!

The week went by slowly, but it certainly wasn't boring. The day after the whole spanish swearing scenario, the heroes went to get fitted for their dresses.

Aghavni actually wasn't half bad at choosing outfits. The dresses she chose suited them pretty well, and even Sans agreed to wear it despite not having worn one in a long time. Her adoptive parents usually made her wear pink, short dresses, which weren't Sans' style.

The dresses that Aghavni chose were straight (though the people wearing it weren't) up ball gowns, but it was a momentous occasion for them and for the village.

Erza's dress was a long, flowing dress, that was cut on the side up to the middle of her thigh where she wore dark blue shorts. It was light blue and was worn with a fauz-fur cover with dark blue flecks. She wore ballet flats the same color as the dress and had her hair put up.

Isa had a strapless dress that's bottom poofed out. It was designed to look like a flower so that from the green sash tied around her waist came yellow petals that enclosed her legs and lower body. Another set of petals came from the top to cover her chest. She wore short, yellow heels and had her hair up in a bun.

Lastly, Sans wore an actual ball gown. It's main color schemes were black and red. It had a turtle neck but with no sleeves and there was a circular hole on its chest so that her gem would show. She wore long, black gloves laced in red. The skirt was mainly black, but had layers of red silk fabric dripping over it. She wore tall, red heels. She had her hair down in a style that made her look like a Belle from hell.

Mimu had been Vortex's, Tamashi's, and his own fashion advisor. Instead of showing off his work, he waited and told them that it would be a surprise. I suppose he thought it would have a bigger impact, but with all that was going on, they didn't quite care.

Sans had been going to Bonnie's everyday for a checkup and so far she said everything was back to normal.

Pretty soon, the day came. The entire household was bustling. Isa didn't know what would be an appropriate gift to give to be accepted by an entire kingdom, so she made one of her household famous four flavored cakes of chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, and red velvet, each flavor being a different layer of cake.

Sans was feeling a bit... bored that day, so she called over Erza. Isa was bending down to get the chocolate layer of the cake from the oven, when Sans had an idea.

Isa stood up and turned around when she was met face to face with Sans, on the ceiling, who had teleported there the second Isa turned.

"Boo," she said simply, except she did it with her eye-mouth. The shock was enough to make Isa yelp and drop the cake. Sans easily caught the cake with one hand and landed on the floor. She set down the cake and realized, she felt tall...er.

Her clothes fit a bit tightly and the back of her neck felt bare. She looked at Isa and put on a confused look. She, or rather, he had short black hair and had grown a bit taller. He was looking at Sans in shock. She turned around to look at Erza.

He had a mullet and had grown taller as well. Sans looked down at her hands and realized she was now a he. His hands were more defined and from the reflection in the oven surface he could tell he had taken on a male appearance. Suddenly, from the bathroom, they heard a feminine scream from within the shower. It was Tamashi.

"Crap," muttered Sans under his breath. Isa and Erza began to scream in confusion and panic, all of their voices had gotten deeper and nothing felt natural.
