After everyone was safely in their beds, Sans went to the realm of the soul again.
"Hey mom?"
"Mhmm?" Replied Niki, twiddling her thumbs and doing somersaults in the air.
"You saw that boy, the one we caught, I had you with me."
"What about him." She asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"Well, did you get, like, a weird feeling from him, I dunno how to describe it, it's like he gives off a friendly aura, but his eyes, they were so.... cold." Said Sans shivering at the thought of his eyes.
"I think what you just described was blooming love." She smiled like she had won the lottery.
"No." Replied Sans, frowning and blushing at the same time. Niki burst out, laughing at her denial.
"Ugh, just tell me, you're, like, a soul weapon, so can you tell me anything about his soul?" Pouted Sans.
"I'm not telling you anything, you're gonna go and talk to him." She replied, wiping tears from her laughter off her face. Suddenly, she snapped her fingers and Sans started to dissolve into black light.
"Are you kicking me out!?"
"Go talk to him!" She yelled as Sans slowly dissolved.
She woke back up in the real world, pouting. She couldn't go to sleep, so she sharpened her axe with her claws, despite it not needing it. It is, after all, a magic axe. She knew she was wasting her time so she simply sat there, upset. Finally, she groaned as she forced herself to get up and go talk to him. She walked down wearing skeleton pajamas that glowed in the dark, and dragon slippers.
They were her favorite articles of clothing from the halfling shop. Her hair looked like a lions mane and her eyes were baggy. She stomped downstairs, each step causing the dragons tongue to stick out. She muttered under her breath about her prying mother, and how she didn't have a stupid crush.
Meanwhile, Tamshi was trying to decide whether or not he should break out of the prison. One of them had wanted to kill him, but he couldn't get that one out of her mind. Most of his life, he had seen things in black and white, except her eyes. He saw her eyes very clearly. One eye was as blue as the deepest depths of the oceans, those depths had been his downfall, but he remembered it vividly.
And the other one, it was that scarlet red. The color of a fiery sunset. The two together reminded him of sunsets on the beach. She was the only reason he was staying. He wanted to know why, how, he saw colors in her eyes.
Soon, he heard stomping and muttering. It got closer and closer. He saw his cell deactivate in front of him and Sans walk into the cell and sit across from him. He stifled a laugh at the pajamas, since her face was being illuminated by their glow. She held out her hand.
"I'm Akuma, but you can call me Sans." She muttered under her breath, obviously came down here against her better judgement.
"Tamashi." He replied as he shook her hand. They sat in silence.
"So, erm, what's your favorite color?" She asked. How ironic.
"Erm, blue, because it reminds me of the ocean and the sky. What's yours?" He replied
"Red, because I feel it's misunderstood, most people associate it with blood and war, and forget about sweet apples and cherries, beautiful roses, brilliant sunsets, all those are red to." Her red eye seemed to shine at the finishing of her remark. They sat in more silence.
"Favorite food?" He asked.
"Chocolate."
"Oh, me to, I have some here, it might've melted a bit." He said, pulling a bar of chocolate from his pocket. He opened it and broke it in half and gave her some. It had a weird flavor. When she was about to strike, thinking it could be poison, when he talked.
"It has razzberries." Knowing Majikku, it probably wasn't normal raspberries. She was right. A second later, their tongues turned a violent shade of red and sprouted lumps.
"Whath happening?" She asked with a bloated tongue. Suddenly lumps began to pop. They blew out confetti every time they popped. Sans started to snicker, and then began to laugh, Tamashi to.
"What were those?" Asked Sans once she was back to normal, wiping of tears from her laughter.
"Razzberries, haven't you ever had them?" Asked Tamashi, Sans shook her head.
"I'm going to tell you something, but you have to promise me something."
"What?"
"You're not a spy for the demon king."
"No, why would I be? He's awful."
"Ok, good enough." Sans began to explain the entire story to Tamashi, the portal, Milly, their identities, the village, everything. "Now remember, if you tell the demon king, I'll have to kill you." She said smiling. Tamashi loudly gulped.
"O-ok."
"Good"
"That's amazing."
" I know." Said Sans waving her hand. "Now, tell me your story." Tamashi hesitated. "It's ok, I get it, I just threatened to kill you, you can tell me later."
"No, no it's not that, it's just, personal."
"Oh, ok then,"
"Wanna see something cool."
"Sure."
"I have to leave the cell."
"SHOW MEEEEH!" Said Sans, grabbing Tamashi by the shoulders and shaking him.
"Ok. Ok." He said, rushing out of the cell and gesturing her to follow. They ran into the food storage, all the way to where the fruits were. "Watch this" he said as he pulled out a pale white berry. He popped it in his mouth, chewed it, and opened his mouth. Millions of ghosts burst from his mouth screaming boo in high pitched voices.
"Woah!" Screamed Sans over the boos, when suddenly, they all disappeared with a puff of smoke.
"Boo berries." He said grinning like an idiot. Sans let out a loud snort
"Does Majikku depend on bad puns to name their fruit."
"Pretty much." After that, they tried red berries, which made their noses bulbous and red; prickly pears, which made their skin go spiky, and many, many more punderful fruits. Soon, they had to return Tamashi to his cell.
"I had a berry good time with you."
"It was pearfect" he replied, shrugging awkwardly. Sans snorted and waved goodbye.
"I'll see you tomorrow!"
"I'm not going anywhere!" Yelled Tamshi back. He decided, he would'nt go anywhere.
