Back to our heroes, they were already deep in crud after onLY 5 FLIPPING MINUTES OF WALKING! They approached yesterday's battlefield and were greeted by a big surprise. The wood part of the tree had completely vanished, but the leaves were still there, and, erm, walking around. They had transformed into what looked like cousin it, except much smaller and made of leaves.

They're eyes were simply yellow lights, and they appeared to have no mouths.

"Y'know this world is jUST REALLY CONFUSING!" Screamed Sans, looking over the army of little leaf monsters.

"Hush you'll scare them away." Snapped Isa, while enjoying the time of her life with the little things. Erza  just looked downright confused as she saw these creatures approach her in hopes of affection. Bella let them hop into her fur as she lay down and examined a single, non-magical leaf on the floor.

"Why do none of them have any wood, wasn't that monster made mainly of wood." Said Erza.

"OOH I KNOW I KNOW!" Said Sans. Erza sighed, expecting an idiotic answer. " Well Milly the tree thrived in environments with dark magic. Maybe it was just the wood with dark magic, not the leaves since firstly, I don't think these little guys could hurt a fly, secondly, I didn't see the leaves attack us yesterday, maybe they even absorbed white majik from the environment." Said Sans, both Erza and Isa had their jaw dropped in shock at the intelligent answer.

"Well let's keep moving, you guys all heard Milly, their hunting for us." Said Erza. As she hopped onto Bella's back.

"I'm gonna keep you." Said Isa to a particular monster who had a little tuft of leaves sticking out on his head like hair.

"Ok, fine, where's Sans?" Asked Erza, until she saw her approaching, lying down on a sea of the things.

"Sup peasants." She shouted, waving at them "Now onward, TO GLORY!" She said pointing the opposite direction. She sped off, Isa hopping onto Bella as well to catch up with her, as Sans's evil laugh faded into the distance. They rode after her for quite some time until they all decided to slow down and take a look at the map. They saw that they were headed straight for the village, and decided to stay on that track so Sans could see it, and teleport there anytime she wanted, as she explained she could only teleport somewhere she had already seen. Isa decided to read up on the different plants, Sans read up on the animals, then they switched, and Erza kept them on track.

It was soon sun down, so they made camp for the night. Isa picked edible plants, Sans made a camp fire (more like a bonfire) and Erza summoned guard animals so Bella could rest, along with their army of leaf monsters. They rationed their "food supplies" from Milly (mostly pancakes and pancake ingredients) so they had fried eggs and berry juice for supper. Apparently, Milly did not pack them spare clothes. They put up the tents Milly gave them and beds of flowers and they all drifted off to sleep.
