Sans was knocked out in her own mind. She slept peacefully in the remnants of her mind. She awoke to the sound of someone crying. She attempted to get out of bed, but found herself trapped in a thick black liquid. She looked up and saw a familiar sight. It was like when Niki was controlling her, except the room was the black room she saw in her dreams but this time, it was Akuma controlling her instead of Niki. Sans watched as the unknown, pale and dark haired boy made a speech that brought a tear to her eye. Apparently, Akuma didn't think so, and was quick to show it. She quickly gave her morbid opinion and slashed his throat.
"HEY!" Sans screamed. Akuma turned around.
"Oh, you're awake, just in time!" giggled Akuma in delight.
"But you already solved my problem. Now give me back my body!" yelled Sans.
"Oh I haven't solved all your problems yet," said Akuma as she turned to face the ones she cared for.
"No," she whispered. "NO! THEYRE NOT A PROBLEM! THE DEAL'S OFF!" she screamed.
"Sorry, you can't back out of this one!" she yelled in response and began her attack. Sans' agonizing screams had no effect on Akuma. She had taken them down one by one, and when they thought they had her beaten, they let their guard down.
Finally, only Tamashi was left standing. She saw Akuma smile curiously and prepared for Tamashi's attack. He was stronger than both of them thought. The impact of the blow loosened Akuma's grip on her, but it quickly tightened. She watched Tamashi begin to cry.
"No," said Sans helplessly. Akuma jumped on him. "Stop!" she yelled once again. Akuma raised her clawed hands.
"NOOOO!!!" she screamed with a volume she didn't think she was capable of. The room around them began to shake. Akuma fell from her perch above and lay curled up on the ground covering her ears. Her grip disappeared and Sans was free. The screen of Sans' vision disappeared and they were alone in the blackness once more.Akuma looked up from the ground and saw Sans. Her eyes seemed to be glowing red hot with anger.
"Looks like someone has a crush," she said.
"Is this really what we're talking about now, besides it's not a crush you just almost murdered my friend."
"Don't lie I literally know your every thought."
"How though?"
"Well, im technically a part of you. I'm what you would call a 'curse,'but I'm worse than most curses 'cause so far, no one has found a way to get rid of me, besides killing themselves. Also I'm pretty much the last of my kind," said Akuma casually, now standing up and dusting herself off.
"Who cursed me?"
"Isn't that obvious? It's the demon king. He made me as a curse that makes the victim act like an animal when they lose control, little did he know that we had minds of our own. We became too powerful and he locked us away, never to be seen again. Until now, that is. I was his last resort, and for that you've gotta be pretty desperate," she said, emphasizing the word pretty. We made what you might call... a deal with the devil! I was to deliver you to the demon king and he would make me a couple more friends."
"So why didn't you? Why didn't you just leave mid battle and bring me to him?"
"Well, firstly, did you not just hear the speech I gave? I'm not a very social creature, and I don't particularly care if my kind is wiped out. For us, it's every man- or woman- for themself. Secondly, I like you. You're different. You truly are an amazing person, but you don't like to show it in fear that everyone will raise the bar too high for you to reach. But, you're also a very angry person, and though your friends think you getting angry is having a little tantrum or making a snarky remark, that's not even half of it. You have so much bottled-up feelings, sadness, jealousy, rage. It's what beings like me thrive on. That's what makes you a perfect host for a virus like me."
