Sans teleported Tamashi and herself into the house. It was dark and empty. It was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. Suddenly, Sans heard a phone ring. The pair followed the sound to her room. There it was, plugged to the wall. Sans supposed she had forgotten it. The ringing stopped. Sans checked it. 27 missed calls. All from both Isa and Erza. The phone rang again, it was from Isa. Sans picked it up.
"Hello?"
"SANS GET OUT HERE WE'RE GETTING OUR ASSES KICKED!" screamed Isa, loudly enough that Sans almost dropped her phone. Tamashi heard. She grabbed her axe and moved. They ran outside and saw explosions from a distance that they somehow hadn't noticed before. She grabbed Tamashi and flew over to the explosions, dodging them whenever one came from underneath her. Sans swooped down into the forest from above. They saw Erza and Isa bruised and scratched. There was a cloaked figure that had on a wide brimmed hat, completely covering his face. All his clothes were black and his hands were pasty white as if they had never seen the sun. Bella was under a tree, purple ooze gushing from her many, many wounds. Erza was putting all her strength into protecting her. Isa was sending her spiked vines and fly traps at the attacker, and while it was distracted, sent her elemental arrows flying at it. It was then that we saw the attacker's powers. As the arrow's heat-seeking fire headed for the mysterious figure. The shadows of the trees began to become distorted as they all rushed towards the figure. They suddenly rose off the ground and formed a wall to protect them. As the vines surrounded him and came out from the top, the shadows became a dome and blocked the vines. The vines continued to batter the dome and suddenly, it broke like glass. Wood shards flew, cutting up the vines. As the attacker let his guard down, Erza thrust herself forward. A mix of anger and adrenaline coursing through her, she lunged with her sword at light speed, but he was faster. He moved slightly to avoid Erza's rapid fire attacks, but without warning, Erza put out her clawed hand and scratched the foe's cheek. The group saw the contrast of the three bleeding red scratches on his face. They gasped as they realized the true power of their foe. He smiled. He had gotten them right where they wanted. Erza looked at him from the shadows, confused, but looked up with realization as an inky black dome surrounded her, slowly closing in. Isa rushed to help her, but a shadow formed below her as a spike and shot up, piercing through her chest. Sans and Tamashi rushed towards her. Her eyes had dulled and her skin was pale. The flower in her hair began to wither. She was heavily bleeding, but her powers were rapidly trying to heal her. They heard a scream from afar. Erza was crushed tightly into a ball and was only freed once she finally thrust her sword through the dome and passed out from pain. It appeared as if every bone in her body had broken. Tamashi rushed to help Erza, forgetting that their foe was still standing. He smiled as Tamashi got close, the shards from the broken dome began to shake and flew at Tamashi. He gasped as the shards pierced him and his green hoodie became stained with red. Sans felt herself panic. Tears stung her eyes as she forgot everything else and ran towards Tamashi.
"Fools, the whole lot of them," muttered the figure in a muffled voice. The shards emerged from Tamashi and began to fly towards Sans. As she put out her hands to block them, they suddenly stopped. Sans looked confused. She looked over at the attacker, his cloak blowing in the breeze had froze. In fact, everything around her had simply stopped.
"Don't be fooled," said a familiar raspy voice. "This is all in your head, your real body is being killed by shadows, but your friends, there's no saving them in your state of power."
"What, what do you mean?" Said Sans, a bit curious, but still panicked.
"Well, your'e weak. You need your mom to show you the way, but even she doesn't know the extent of your power. You're more special than you know, and only I can unlock and show you how to use them. It would be especially useful now."
