Back at the palace, the king was going mad. He had the ashes of his dead monsters cupped in his hands. He let out a little laugh as he sat on his throne, enraged. He had kept the gray hair in a box next to his throne. He noticed that his heart began to fade in color. Even looking at it enraged him, knowing who made it possible to see it.

"Servant boy." He  said.

"Y-yes?" Asked a young demon boy.

"Summon her." He said. The demon boys eyes filled with fear and he broke out in a cold sweat. He wondered, what misdeed could anyone have done for him to send out for her. He shuffled out to the balcony and saw a white dove with a black X on it. She was expecting to be asked for help. He whispered something in the birds ear and it flew off. A few hours later, a new bird, a raven with a white O on it flew in through the balcony and landed at the feet of the King.

It let out a loud caw, and suddenly a hooded figure swooped onto the. It was her. She approached the king, the sound of her footsteps was the only thing you could hear in the silent palace.

"I thought you might call." She said in a smooth, cold voice.

"I assume you've heard the news." Responded the king in disgust.

"I assume I'll be asked to do an assassination job." She said.

"No." He muttered. She looked up, confused. "I want them alive." He said.

"Easy enough, what's in it for me?" She asked.

"Ugh, here, more shinies as you call them." Groaned the king, as he tossed her jewels, pearls, crowns, and all sorts of treasure.

"You know me so well." She replied while picking up the treasure. "Consider it done." She said and exited through the balcony.
