SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW

Chapter 15

"Sid, do you know how to braid? Ema asked her that next morning. Kasalukuyan silang nag aayos sa kanilang kwarto.

"Yeah, why? Do you want me to braid your hair?" She answered and asked back.

"Oo sana eh." She said smiling.

She nod her head. Lumapit naman ito sa kama niya at sinimulang suklayin ang malambot na buhok nito.

"Your hair is so soft and nice." She commented. Ema's cornhair like color is really beautiful. It suits her cute face. She started braiding it.

"But I love your chestnut straight hair." Sagot nito sakanya. She tried hair dying in the past but its natural chestnut color keeps on coming back.

"Ano yan?" Pia asked them when she got out of the bathroom wearing a  string bikini. She walks to her own bed just beside her. She got an oversize white thin shirt and put it on as a cover up. Nililis nito iyon sa kabilang braso. "Can you do that to my hair too Sid?" She continued.

"Of course. Tapusin ko lang tong kay Ema." Masayang sagot niya.

"Which hair Pia, your hair up or down there?" Ema kidded.

"Say thanks I'm not the one who's holding your hair right now cause if I do, I'm gonna pull it really hard." Pia answered to her friend. Nag asaran pa ang dalawa. Nang matapos niyang e braid ang mga buhok nito ay hinanap niya na ang mga susuotin sa kanyang mga gamit at pumasok na sa banyo upang makapag ayos na rin ng sarili. She pick up a pair of red and navy blue not so revealing elegant high waisted bikini. It's bikini bottom is a blue navy blue striped. She put on a long white cardigan before she step out of the bathroom and tied her blow dried hair  into a messy bun.

"You look fab Sid!" Ema commented having her full attention on her as she got out.

"Thanks Ema." She smiled.

"And we won't allow you not to try the water this time Sid. Sayang ng bikini mo girl." Pia giggled.

"Nauna na pala ang mga boys sa lobby." Ema said. Wala na nga ang mga lalaki sa loob ng kwarto. Umalis na pala ang mga ito habang naliligo siya.

"Wait, let's take a selfie." Ema pick her phone on top of the bed and they took three clicks before finally went down to their friends.

Natanaw nila ang mga kaibigan na naghihintay sa lobby. Zach immediately went to his feet and went to her when they finally saw them coming. He guided her to their friends and put a arm on her waist. Natanaw niyang nakaupo sila Rio at Justine sa pang tig isahang upuang gawa sa rattan. Vince and Maddie were beside each other on a cream sofa. Wala sina Reston, Axel at Margaux roon.

"Where's the other?" Pia querried.

"Axel's talking to his staff, I don't know where's Reston and Margaux. Probably on their room doing God knows-" Binato ni Maddie si Justine ng throw pillow dahilan ng pagkaputol ng sasabihin pa sana nito.

Axel set up their breakfast on a floating Nipa hut with a few meters away from the seashore. Napagpasyahan nilang einform na lang sila Reston na sumunod doon. Hindi parin kasi amg mga ito bumababa mula sa kwarto nito.

A jetski is one of the way to get fast on the said floating nipa hut aside from the boat. Rio with his backride Pia decided to have a race with Ema and Justine. They seem to enjoy Axel's idea of having breakfast at the sea why she does the otherwise. She sit on the sun lounger for awhile. Tumingala siya sa hindi pa masyadong kainitan ng araw. It was just seven in the morning though. She roam her vision on the view of the sea. Ang lawak niyon ay nagdala ng libo libong alaala. She wanted to turn that devastating past but she was hesitant to even put a step on seawater. Ang trahedyang naging hudyat ng pagkawala ng kanyang kapatid ang pumipigil sakanya.
