Chapter 16

It was an awkward silent walk as they went back to her room. She doesn't know what really gets through her to agreed with him. She kept on convincing herself it was just because of the liquor she had.

"Just text Zach, we're going home now." After the kissed and what he said, she obliged him like a sheep on her shepherd. Ang daan patungo sa kanilang tinutuluyan ay nagmistulang isang malawak na desyerto. Napakatahimik. She entered the password before the door went open. She didn't dare to invite him in. Akmang papasok na siya ay hinawakan nito ang kanyang braso dahilan kung bakit napaangat siya ng tingin rito.

"Sid...I'm still-" Reston's words were cut in mid air as Zach's called her running.

"Sid, I'm sorry. Are you okay? What happened?" Sunod sunod ang mga tanong nito ng tuluyan ng makalapit sa kanila. Iniwas lamang ni Reston ang atensyon ng muli niya itong binalingan. Tumango lamang siya ng sunod sunod kay Zach to reassure him.

"You made me worried sick. Akala ko napano ka na." Zach said full of worries.

"Nothing serious, nahilo lang ako." She answered. Before pushing herself inside the room. Zach invited Reston in but the latter refused.

"No need. Babalikan ko pa si Margaux." Reston's words seemed like a sharp knife stabs straight right through her chest, it damn hurts. "Sid, take a rest now." Patuloy nito. She just ignored what he said and she controlled her self to roll her eyes at him. Tinalikuran niya na lamang ito. Kumuha siya ng mga malinis na damit at towel bago nagtungo sa bathroom.

Inis na hinubad niya ang mga damit. The cold water dripping from the shower doesn't do any good to her heated mood. "The guts of that man!" She murmured angrily. Ngaingali niyang iumpog ang ulo sa pader. What happened awhile ago is no doubt a foolishness. She should have slapped or punched him square on the face! Ang isiping naisahan siya nito kanina ay naiinis na siya ng sobra. But the thought that he has Margaux, na kailangan pa nitong balikan, the word extremely irritated are understatement.

Matapos maligo ay lumabas na siya ng banyo. Nakita niyang nakaupo sa kanyang kama si Zach. Maytinatype ito sa hawak na cellphone na agad tinigilan ng makita siya. He smiled at her. The smile which didn't reach his ears. She felt sudden guilt of what she were thinking awhile ago. Nilapitan niya ito at naupo sa tabi nito.

"Are you really okay?" He asked. Kung iisipin ay siya dapat ang magtanong noon para dito. He looked upset.

Tinanguan niya lamang ito. The unadulterated concern in his eyes says made her realized how unfaithfull she is. Kahit hindi pa sila ng binata ay parang pinagtaksilan niya parin ito sa nangyari. The thought made her think how awful and  low she is.

"You should have told me Sid. It should be me who-.." bakas ang tampo sa boses nito.

"I'm sorry..." she said looking at him straight in the eyes. Parang bata naman itong umiwas ng tingin sakanya.

"Hey..." she tried to catch his stares. Hinawakan niya ang mukha nito at pinaharap sakanya. "You could surely beat Reston's tantrums with your actions right now. Huwag ka ng magtampo.." she added humor on her voice to lighten up the mood.

"Hindi ako nagtatampo. I'm jealous Sid." He said seriously and she was caught off guard. Her heart skipped at what he said but she managed to control it right away.

"You don't have to, what Reston did was just a brotherhood act." She explained and he just remained quiet. She cup his face with both hands and move her face closer to him. Without inhibition, he initiated a kiss which he gladly responded.

"I am so in love with you Sid na kahit si Reston ay pinagseselosan ko na. I'm sorry but I can't helped it." He said huskily while staring at her.

She softly slap him in his cheek, "The least thing I want for a boyfriend is the one who gets easily jealous on silly things." She said joking but it means real.
