"Magandang araw Engineer." Reston could run a politician in their place. Halos lahat ng madaanan nila ay may bumabati dito. He just greeted them back with sometimes a nod, wave or smile.

The fresh air brought about by December morning's so nice. They had almost two hours of jogging around their place
She could find it more wholesome jogging in this place than the metro's pavement. Mere fresh air brought some kinda feeling of wellness.

"You never told me you had plan to jog today, I have a better place to offer. I'm sure you'll love it." He said out of nowhere when they were heading back.

"It was just so sudden. I woke up this early awhile ago feeling I just love to jog today." She said nonchantly.

"Next time, you ask me para madala kita dun." he answered not sensing she's not interested at all.

After all, She planned to go back to Manila maybe tomorrow so there's no sense telling him cause she has no indefinite time when to come back.

"Res, I need to go back to Manila probably tomorrow if time won't go upon competetion. I haven't told Lola and Rienzo yet." She stated.

"Couldn't it wait the day after tomorrow. You'll not going to celebrate the new year's eve with us? Can it be on first day of the year, around afternoon perhaps. Puyat pa tayo nun." She can sense the defined disagreement in his voice. And what he said made her cringed.Hell no! Hindi niya gustong ipagdrive siya nito papuntang Manila.

"Okay, January's first. Anyway, I can manage, matutulog ako ng maaga the night before and I planned to take the drive maybe around daytime, before lunch I guess. After won't be my choice, I promise Dad I'm home on that date. " She answered.

Their little argument got destructed by a woman she thought a bit older than Reston. The woman was basically approaching to them when she greeted Res before head-to-footing her. Irritation rose up immediately when she got a meter near.

"Hi Engineer Griffins, good morning!" The woman said in a flirty voice. She looks mature and sexy except her attire and her height. Petite ang babae, kaninang malayo pa ito'y akala niya'y isa itong elementary pupil pero ng makita ang mukha sa malapitan ay napagtanto niyang hindi. Hindi siya ganoong mapanglait pero parang may something sa babae na hindi niya gusto. She is obviously a flirt. She's wearing a purple fitted sleeveless shirt match with a light purple leggings plus a pink rubbershoes, looks nothing but a walking purple yam. Don't tell me this walking purple yam is one of Reston's girl, damn it! She couldn't imagine he stoop that low as she murder the flirt on her mind!

"Good morning Ma'am Aiza." Reston greeted her back.

"Just-woke-up look huh. You don't plan for this jog, aren't you?" The purple yam said teasing.

"Tsk! Res, may I go ahead. Excuse me." She muffled to get Reston's attention. He immediately hold her hand to stop her from walking away.

"Wait baby.." he stop her.

"Oh, who is she?" Tanong ng babae kay Reston ng binalingan siya ng konti. Nakita niyang napataas ang isang kilay nito. The nerve! She thought as she wanted to scratch her face along with the artificial nose she has.

"Uh, I'm sorry Ma'am Aiza we need to go. She seems out of the mood.." Reston said as he rested his hand on her waist holding her closer. "Naglilihi ata." He continued and the woman nearly swell her eyes out because of shock. Without any word, they walk passed through her. She elbowed Reston the moment the woman was gone in their vision.

"You're mean, why did you do that?" She asked and he just laughed as if what she said is a statement of a joke. Damn it!

"You talking as if you didn't murder her in your mind many times." He countered back still laughing. "Selosa..." he murmured.
