chapter 11

Aki and Ikue fell asleep on the couch together, hugging Aki was trying to comfort Ikue before they fell asleep.

Aki's mom walked Into the living room, home from work and whacked Aki on the head. "Mom what the hell!" Aki yelled, waking Ikue up.

"Wh-whu" Ikue muttered sleepily.

"Who's this young man in my house!" Aki's mom yelled.

"He's a guy from the academy. I was hugging him because he was sad. We just fell asleep." Aki told her mother.

"Well okay, just promise me you didn't do any funny stuff." Aki's mom spoke

"We didn't..." Ikue spoke sleepily, resting his head on Aki's shoulder.

Aki's mom looked relieved "well okay, if you want to pass the chunin exams you better go train" aki's mom spoke.

"Okay, lemme get dressed." Aki said running off into her room.

Ikue smiled to himself, thinking about how he had gotten a good friend. He respected her, but he knew, she was going to find out one way or another what he was planning to do with Taysuke.

Aki came out of her room in a red tunic, teal shorts and sandals with her headband around her waist. "Come on Ikue, I gotta train!" Aki yelled, grabbing his slender, scarred hand and running out off to the training grounds.

Once the they got to the training grounds Aki smiled and put her hand on ikues back

"So, since you're a chunin can you give me some advice?" Aki asked

"Sure... I guess but maybe later, I'm going to sleep...by the way your sharingan will help you a lot, trust me I know." Ikue mumbled.

"Oh hey Aki, hey Ikue, sorry for knocking you out." Taysuke squawked out of nowhere

Ikues eyes widened "it's fine" he spoke shakily

*Flashback*

Ikue walked into his house from a long day at school, the smell of blood lingering through out the house, causing worry to the young boy.

He walked into the kitchen and saw the corpses of his family on the ground, bloody and mangled, distorted necks and broken bones. Faces with widened eyes and open mouths, some of the bodies looked puffy and purple as if they were suffocated. All the children had broken ankles as if they were broken so they wouldn't run away. Ikues parents had weapons in their hands and tears on their face, they were always fighting, even till the day they died.

A small red headed boy with a gourd on his back stood in the corner.

Tears fell fast from ikues face, he started sobbing uncontrollabily.

"Why! Why Gaara Why! What did they do to you! Why! I know you're not an idiot! I know you have feelings and reasons! Just why would you do that! Why! Why! Why! Why!" Ikue sobbed.

"Your family is awful. Your grandmother called me a monster,your family is scum!" Gaara spoke unemotionally.

Gaara turned around and walked towards Ikue, Ikue was frozen with fear. Gaara used his sand to grab ikues ankle, caused him to fall, Ikue clawed the ground desperately, Gaara pulled him closer.

"Please Gaara! I don't think you're a monster! Please stop! I-I can- I can get someone for you to kill, a-at the chunin exams! Please!" Ikue sobbed desperately.

Gaara chuckled "Fine, but if you don't I'll kill you ." Gaara said gruffly.

"O-Okay! I promise!" Ikue cried.

Flashforward to the training mission

Ikue hopped from branch to branch, he finally caught up with the group. He looked at the group and threw a kunai at Aki, not very fast though, he didn't want to hurt her,she caught it; he noticed her sharingan "hmm so she has one too." He thought.

Aki lunged towards him. He activated his sharingan too, Miya started running, while Taysuke stayed "idiot! Escort your target back!" Ikue thought angrily, his eyebrows slanting down. Then he thought "such a worthless teammate could easily be sacrificed to Gaara, plus maybe they'd replace him with me! I'd love to work with Aki, she's so kind to me.

Something hit his head from behind. Causing him to be knocked out, he turned and fell off the branch.k

End of flashbacks

"Hmm? What's wrong?" Taysuke asked.

"Oh nothing, I just felt like I had to sneeze...y'know... allergies" Ikue lied.

"Oh my god! I hate when that happens!"  Taysuke spoke stupidly.

"Yeah..." Ikue mumbled.

"Well go lay down Ikue, you've had a rough day, me and Taysuke are gonna train! Sweet dreams!" Aki squawked.

"Yeah, okay I will..." Ikue yawned, walking over to a patch of grass.

Aki smiled at the peaceful looking Ikue, snoring softly.

"Ooo you like him!" Taysuke squawked.

Aki punched him in the face

"Shut up doofus!" She whisper-yelled.

*Time skip to the end of training*

"Ikue, wake up sleepy-head" Aki said, gently shaking the tall boy.

"Hu-huh??? Mom five more minutes...." Ikue spoke, Aki was both worried and a bit happy, Ikue called her mom which was funny, but his mom was dead, which was not funny at all.

"No it's me Aki" Aki spoke softly, petting his long hair

"Oh... can you take me hoooome?" He spoke sleepily.

"I don't know where you live" Aki replied kindly

"You don't?" He groaned

"I don't." Aki replied, still stroking his hair.

"It's apartment 12B..." He mumbled.

"Mkay" Aki responded softly. Aki picked Ikue up bridal style and started walking towards the apartments, which Naruto had also lived in. Aki had gotten to the apartments and opened the door, Ikue forgot to unlock it.

Aki set the tired boy down on his bed and tucked him in, petting his hair one last time, it was silky and smooth, he obviously took great care of it. Aki closed his bedroom door and left his apartment.

Aki walked over to Narutos and knocked on the door. Naruto came to the door, in his pajamas.

"Oh hey Aki, whatcha need?" Naruto asked.

"Oh I just put one of my friends who just moved here to bed since he was sleepy" Aki responded.

"Aaah, well I got to go on a mission tomorrow so I'm going to bed early tonight" Naruto responsed.

"Oh cool, have you had dinner?" Aki asked

"No actually, I'm really hungry." Naruto replied, rubbing his stomach.

"Then come on! You can stay up for a bit more! I'm sure my mom's cooking food right now! We wouldn't want a hungry Uzumaki on our hands!" Aki chimed.

"But I'm in my pajamas" Naruto replied.

"So? You'll just be more comfortable!" Aki replied happily

"Okay but lemme get my shoes on." Naruto replied.
