chapter 28

Miya and Sasuke skipped stones at the lake. Miya and Sasuke felt calm together like this, the warm breeze ruffled Miyas hair gently. Sasuke blushed at how pretty she was. Miya looked over her shoulder to see Sasukes handsome face staring at her. She smiled and Sasuke looked at the sunset and looked back to her. He reached into his pocket and held something up. It was a necklace with a uchiha clan symbol on it. Sasuke handed it to her. "Uh here...its for you...it was my moms and I think if she were here she'd want me to give this to you." Sasuke spoke, trying not to stutter.

Miya's eyes gleamed. "Thank you so much! I love it!" Miya hugged Sasuke tightly and pulled back. Miya took the necklace and put it on her neck. "Thank you so much Sasuke! I'll never take this off!" Miya chimed happily.

Sasuke nodded and smiled. Her took her hand in his own. "Come on, lets go to ichirakus, my treat."  Sasuke smiled gently. Miya smiled happily. The two walked hand in hand to the ramen shop.

The two sat down on the stools and ordered their favorite types of  ramen. They ate their food calmly, unlike Naruto and Aki. Speaking of the two knuckle heads here they came into ichirakus. Aki was on Narutos back, she chuckled "You're stronger than you look!" Aki smiled ruffling his shaggy blond hair. Aki hopped down and sat by Miya. "So, how have you and Sasuke been doing?" Aki asked, Naruto hopping next to her.

"Well me and Sasu have been hanging out a lot, sometimes we skip rocks or watch movies." Miya smiled gently. Aki smiled and looked at the two holding hands. Ichiraku set Naruto and Aki's favorite ramen infront of them, knowing that they'd order it. The two knuckle heads began to chomp their ramen down.

Miya looked towards Sasuke and saw he had a frown on his face. "What's wrong?" Miya asked. Sasuke sighed.

"Nothing, I just hate Naruto." Sasuke frowned.

Aki paused devouring her ramen for a second. "Oh,Sasuke, I talked to Itachi a few days ago. He asked how you were." Aki said blankly. Sasuke widened his eyes and slanted his brows.

"Itachi? How." Sasuke growled.

"It was at a café." Aki shrugged.

"How did you know it was him." Sasuke asked.

"He only puts on a god damn hat, what a gook." Aki rolled her eyes. Naruto chuckled and shoved more ramen in his face. Naruto was strangely quiet. Aki noticed the necklace hanging from Miya's neck. "Did Sasuke get you that?" Aki asked and Miya nodded. Aki smiled "How cute of you Sasuke, that's quite thoughtful." Aki giggled at how nice Sasuke was to Miya.

Naruto noticed how Aki was able to talk to Sasuke without him getting particularly mad, honestly sometimes he wished he could talk to Sasuke like that. Aki looked at Naruto and ran her fingers his hair. "You okay Naruto?" Aki asked, worried about his facial expression.

"Yeah, I'm ready to leave." Naruto said, putting a smile on his face. Aki paid for their ramen and the two hopped off the bar stools and left.

Sasuke sighed and looked at his ramen and ate more. Miya clutched his left hand and smiled, Sasuke smirked back. Soon Sasuke paid and hopped off the stool with Miya. The two walked back to Sasukes house.

The two went upstairs and fell asleep on Sasukes bed. Neither of them felt alone anymore now that they were...best friends? Seriously Sasuke, step up your game.
