Aki opened her eyes and looked at Gaara, he was still awake and he was staring at her, Aki smiled and nuzzled her face into Gaaras neck, he looked at her and looked away, flustered. Aki dug into her bag and took out some water, she took a sip and offered it to Gaara, he nodded to signal thanks and took a sip. He gave the water back to Aki.

Miya woke up and looked over at the two, she looked outside the tent through the mesh window "Sasuke..." She thought, she wished she was in his soft, strong arms.

Gaara looked at Aki and whispered into her ear "so, who's Chui?" His calm voice making the hair on her neck stand up. Aki froze.

"A person in my dream...I know it's dumb but he wanted me to help you I don't know why." Aki whispered, lying.

Gaara nodded and pet Aki's hair gently, he rested his head on her shoulder and finally gave up, he hasn't slept in weeks and he was sure he could take one nightmare for the sweet release of sleep. Aki smiled at him and wrapped the blanket around him and set him on her sleeping bag, she put her pillow underneath his head. She touched his love scar on his forehead and smiled.

Aki was older and had longer hair, she held the hand of a small boy with Sandy blonde hair and sea green eyes. He smiled and Aki waved. Gaara inhaled and exhaled. He blinked and opened his eyes, the boy was on the ground covered in blood and his bones broken, Aki's hair was matted with blood and her head was bleeding. "Gaara...how...how... could you?" Aki sobbed violently. "Chui...oh god... please." Aki sobbed. Aki turned to Gaara and scowled "you monster you killed our son!" Aki screamed, still crying.

Gaara shut his eyes and opened them and saw Chui walk up to him with a cookie, the blonde boy smiled and held the cookie up to gaaras face. "Daddy do you want a cookie? Mama made it!" The small boy squeaked. Gaara didn't know what to do since he just saw his own, precious son, dead. He looked to his side and back at his son and grabbed thte cookie.

"Thank you..." Gaara mumbled. Chui smiled and grabbed his finger and lead him to the kitchen Chui smiled and reached his arms up, Gaara picked Chui up and hugged him.

Gaara opened his eyes and looked at Aki sitting by him talking to Pawafurusun, everyone was in the tent, sitting, except for Gaara. Rain hit the tent heavily and it was grey outside. "So that's why I think Naruto would make a great hokage!" Aki smiled.

"But he's really stupid." Taysuke replied.

"I think Naruto is okay personally... but Sasuke would make a way better hokage."

Aki glared at Taysuke "don't call him stupid! He's done better on some tests than you!"

"Yeah by sheer luck!" Taysuke growled.

Temari laughed and Kankuro chuckled. Pawafurusun groaned. "I think everyone in the village has an equal opportunity of becoming a kage." The tall woman spoke.

Gaara sat up, his messy ruby red hair even messier, his eyes dreary and shiny, he looked over to Aki and set his hand on hers, she turned to him. "Oh, good morning Gaara. How was your nap?" Aki smiled.

"Okay." Gaara mumbled drearily.

"Mkay, if you haven't noticed we're stormed in, so we'll be in here for a day or two." Aki spoke calmly. Gaara nodded, the green tent had a lantern in the middle, Miya was watching the rain fall and Taysuke, Temari and Kankuro were staring at the lantern. Pawafurusun was looking at Gaara and Aki.

Gaara clasped his hand around Aki's. Aki noticed how soft her hands are. Pawafurusun cleared her throat. "Well I guess we'll all just do our own thing until it stops raining."

Temari got up "hey Gaara, do you and Aki want to camp out in our tent for the night?" Temari smiled.

"Yeah how bout it?" Kankuro responded.

Gaara nodded looked at Aki, "sure." Aki spoke calmly. Gaara and Aki got up, they still held hands. Gaara used his sand as an umbrella for the group as they walked over to the tent, Aki had her stuff on her shoulder as they walked over to the tent. Aki set her things down by Gaara and sat down.

"So, when did you guys get all friendly with each other?" Kankuro asked.

"Aki's just been nice to me, that's it really. It's nice to have someone like you instead of fear you." Gaara spoke. Aki smiled.

Temari and Kankuro fell asleep, the group told scary stories back and forth and Aki got scared. Every loud noise making her flinch and every lightning bolt making her jump. Gaara turned around to face Aki "do you want to sleep in my bag with me?" Gaara asked. Aki nodded and climbed out of her bag and into his, she clung onto Gaara and nuzzled her face into his chest. Gaara wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her head. Aki calmed down and fell asleep in his arms.
