"why 'la da dee'?"
-well.
I used to get very anxious during classes at school very often. and with loose papers lying around, I would always write the little phrase over and over as it was the first thing that always came to mind. and in some way, it was calming to me.
la da dee sounded like a sunny day looks like to me; relaxing, peaceful and at ease. the way the letters flow and the words radiate a sense of carlessness; no worries - it seemed to sooth my nerves and relieve me of my ugly feelings, even if it was only temporarily.
la da dee was a small coping mechanism.
and that's why my poetry book is called this.
because poetry heals too.
