i know things aren't going the best
this past week you've had no rest

when you're worrying about the future, this I can promise:
it will get better and so will you - honest.
little do you know, your future is so bright, you'll see
love, it may be dark now, but just believe

better days are heading your way
everything will work out - remember what I say

optimism has never been your thing, but
kick the negativity and keep going
all I can say, because I truly know it, is:
you'll be okay. you can do it.
