he, she, they,
straight, queer, gay,
it doesn't matter
because at the end of the day:
we are all human.
light, dark, in between
life together, falling at the seam,
it doesn't matter
because at the end of the day:
we are all human.
twenty-one, thirty-four,
closer to the ground or really tall,
it doesn't matter
because at the end of the day:
we are all human.
religious or not at all,
wealthy or achingly poor,
it doesn't matter
because at the end of the day:
we are all human.
good grades, low,
disabled or good to go,
it doesn't matter
because at the end of the day:
we are all human.
and
humans
are
allowed
to be
d if f e r e n t .
