w a r m

and even with the cold dancing around outside her window,
she was content.

with the company of tea,
fluffy bed socks
and a book upon her lap,
she was at peace.

and with how emotionally
warm
she was,
the cold didn't matter.
it let her be,
and she returned the favour.
