Chapter 12: Romeo and Juliet?

"I really want you to do the campaign. I know it's a long time, but trust me it's worth it. I'll miss you to much if you leave." Romeo says.

There's silence.

"I'd miss you to. It's just a lot to think about." I say.

"I understand. I just wanted to let you know how I feel about this." He says.

"Thank you." I whisper.

He kisses my cheek and walks out of my room.

I decide to make a pro and con list about modeling.

Pros: fame, w/ Romeo, free clothes, get money, could lead to bigger things
Cons: no family, no friends, fame, long time away, busy schedule

I put fame in both because I don't know if I want to be famous.

"Ding!"

Brooklyn: Mac and I were thinking about watching 'The Martian'. U can join us in the movie room.
Romeo: K
Me: I love that movie!
Cruz: Evan and I are coming
Evan: Yep

I walk down to the movie room and see that everyone is here except for Romeo. They started the movie about 2 minutes ago.

"Hey Juliet." Cruz says.

"What?" I ask.

"You know like Romeo and Juliet." Cruz says.

Everyone laughs, I roll my eyes. As they laugh Romeo walks in the room.

"What's so funny?" Romeo asks.

"Oh nothing. Just Cruz being funny." I say.

I sit down next to Romeo and Brooklyn.

When the surgery scene in "The Martian" comes on I close my eyes and put my head on Romeo's shoulder.

"Click."

I hear a camera go off. I immediately look up.

"Brooklynnnnnn!" Romeo yells.

"What?! I just took a picture, see." He says as he shows us the picture.

It's a super cute picture of Romeo and I, but it looks like something a couple would do.

"Awwww!" Mac says.

I give him an evil glare.

We are about half way through the movie when Evan says,

"I'm bored!"

"Me too!" Cruz says.

"Um ok... we could play a game?" Brooklyn suggested as he paused the movie.

"How about truth or dare!" Cruz suggests.

"Ok, that works I guess." Mac says.

"Who's first?" Romeo asks.

"Me me me!" Cruz says.

"Ok Cruz, truth or dare." Romeo asks.

"DARE!!!" Cruz yells.

"Chill dude." I say jokingly.

"I dare you to say your crushes name." Romeo says.

"Fine! It's Amanda." Cruz says.

"Ooooo Cruzies got a girlfriend!" Mac says.

"Ew no! I'm way to young!!" Cruz says.

"Truth or dare, Emily?" Cruz asks.

"Truth." I instantly say.

"What was the last text you sent besides in the group chat and who was it to?" Cruz asks.

I scroll through my phone.

"Oh! It's "Me 2 even though we'd probs see each other everyday" And it was to Romeo." I say proudly.

I see Romeo blush.

"Truth or dare, Romeo?" I ask.

"Truth i guess." He says shyly.

"What's been your craziest fan experience." I ask.

"Lameeee! Ask something interesting Emily" Cruz says.

"That IS interesting and probably when we were skiing and a girl followed me down the trail just to get a picture. She was kinda creepy." He says.

"Weird." I say.

"Can I ask one to Emily?" Romeo asks.

"Sure, why not?" Brooklyn says.

"Truth or dare?" Romeo asks.

"Truth." I say.

"Did 100% not know my family and I were famous when you saw us?" He asks.

"I recognized you guys but thought I just saw you strolling through the airport or something. But I had no idea who you were until you followed me on Instagram." I say truthfully.

He nods.

"Truth or dare Brooklyn."

"Dareee!!" Brooklyn yells.

"Um ok.... hahaha I dare to to change your Instagram profile picture to a picture of me for 24 hours." I say.

"Good one Emily." Romeo says.

"Ugh fine!" Brooklyn says as he goes onto Instagram.

"Do this picture." I say to him.

"Ok." Brooklyn says.

"This is boringgg." Evan says.

"Evan and Cruz, it's 11:30, you guys should go to bed." Mac says.

"Fine!" Cruz says.

They go upstairs.

"Let's finish the movie." I say.

Brooklyn presses play. We all head on the couch, Brooklyn and Mac on one side and Romeo and I on one side.

After about 10 minutes. Romeo does the cliché yawn arm thing to me. That was lame but I didn't move. I enjoyed it. I laughed.

"That was lame Ro." I say while laughing.

"I'm sorry." He says while laughing as well.

After about 45 minutes Romeo and I fell asleep.

"Ding!"
"Ding!"
"Ding!"

My phone wakes me up at 8:30. I look to see where I am. I'm on the couch with Romeo on the other side. He's asleep. I scroll through Instagram and see that my brother tagged me in a photo.

"Mac!!!!" I yell.
