First of all, I am so sorry for not updating. I've had some serious writers block and I'm very sorry about it, I'll try to be more regular. Second of all ATTENTION: please read the author's note at the end, it's important. Thank you and I hope you enjoy.
*not dating*
He watched as she stormed into the semi crowded bar, headed for him. She took the seat next to him and downed the glass of whiskey that he had waiting for her.
"Went well huh?"
He knew she had just finished dinner with her somewhat estranged mother, if she could be considered that from what he's heard.
"Mhmm. Can I have another one?" She asked the bar tender.
"You got it," Erin could see the way her and Jay were looking at each other, a slight pang of jealousy erupted in her.
"You're sleeping with her," it was more of a statement rather than a question.
"What? No," he was caught off guard, obviously lying.
"You're a horrible liar," she laughed.
"We played scrabble, like once, at her apartment."
"Shut up," she said laughing.
"That's it," she could tell he was trying to be serious.
"Shut up."
Then the 'bar-tender-who-wasn't-sleeping-with-her-partner' came back and handed her another glass of whiskey.
"Thank you. She's cute," she said, eyeing her as she walked away.
Then she saw the somewhat serious face he was wearing, quickly remembering he had asked their there for a reason, most likely not just for drinks.
"What's up?"
"I need a place to crash, until the bounty blows over," he tensed up a bit as he asked, suddenly becoming nervous about asking her.
They've been to each other's places and slept over when it got too late, but never for multiple days. They both had feelings for each other, but they knew they couldn't act on them because of Voight's stupid in house relationship rules.
"I think you're in luck, Olinsky's got room in his garage," she smirked at him.
"Come on."
"Come on what?"
"Can I crash with you," his tone got a bit quieter, like he was tired or something.
"You going to try to play scrabble with me too?"
"I will be the perfect gentleman," he grinned his infamous lopsided grin.
"Uh huh."
"As usual."
"Don't even start," she said laughing.
"Can I or not?"
This time she recognized what she thought was tired to be more of slight anger and defeat. Like he was really begging her, like he had no where else to go, like a lost puppy. Of course she was going to let him stay at her house, they're partners. She just liked to tease him.
"Yeah, we'll work something out."
As she said this he smiled, and she felt a small smile form on her face as well.

After a couple more drinks, they headed back to Erin's place. Jay had already packed a bag and left it in his car, hoping she'd say yes. It wasn't very late so they decided to sit on the couch and watch a movie with some beers, instead of in a bar.
