Follow the leader

I had been a huge Pokemon fan ever since I was little. I remember the first time I started playing Pokémon blue. Ever since then I've been attached to Pokemon.
Everyone was downloading Pokemon go. The moment I heard about it, I went to the App Store and downloaded it. It was so great being able to catch all of the original 151 Pokemon again just like I did when I was a kid. I played Pokemon go every day after work. It was a great way for me to get out of the house and get some exercise.
One afternoon as I was playing Pokémon go as I normally did. I noticed that there was a few rattatas, hoothoots, and magikarps around, but those were the usual Pokémon that I would find. I nearly dropped my phone in shock once I looked to see other near by Pokémon. There was a charizard near by. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Since the charizard was nearby, I decided that I would search everywhere I could around that area in order to find it. It was just too good of an opportunity to give up.
I continued walking forward until it disappeared. I couldn't believe it was gone so I tried walking back to see if it was really gone or it I just walked to far. Thankfully, I did walk to far.
Before I realized it, I was in an empty ally. I had no idea where I was, but I knew that I didn't walk very far. I figured I'd try just going in the direction I went when I was looking for the charizard.
I froze and dropped my phone suddenly when I felt a cold hand cover my mouth. Everything just stopped, I couldn't comprehend what was going on.
"Looks like you found me!" I heard the man laugh from behind me.
I felt a cold sweat and my hands trembled as I realized what was happening. I had fallen right into this man's trap.
I didn't even think about calling for help. There wasn't a single person around me. My mind raced as I tried to think of some possible way to get out of this. I knew if I stayed there, then I was going to be killed.
I stood there for a moment trying to muster up as much courage as I could. His hand suddenly tightened on my face and I felt something poking my back. I didn't want to believe what it was but I knew it was a gun.
"Don't you think about leaving. You're gonna be coming with me.." he said as he shoved the gun against my skin.
My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. I could feel my heart beat through out my entire body. For a moment, I felt like giving up hope. He had me at gun point and I was all alone.
I closed my eyes and clutched them shut. This couldn't possibly be reality. I couldn't even tell you what happened to me after that. Something just snapped in me. All I remember is the scream of the man and a loud gunshot.
I ran as fast as I possible could as I could to get home. I still to this day can't believe what happened to me. It still feels like a bad dream, but I know that it was all too real.
