Shining eyes

  Sableyes are obsessed with jewels, gems, diamonds, and other shiny stones. They would always be obsessed with their collection and would do anything to collect more and more gems. They were just so fascinating to them. It's basically all they did their whole lives, unless a trainer caught them, of course. They often lived in caves in order to get these precious diamonds. It was an obsession. More and more, they just couldn't get enough. Many trainers didn't know what to think of their strange behavior.
  One day a trainer was just exploring a random cave, when he came across a huge pile of diamonds, jewels, all of the good stuff. He knew better then to touch it. He knew it was a sign of a nearby sableye. He didn't have one, so he figured it was in change.
  He slowly crept around the cave, looking for one. He smiled once he realized there were two little sableyes in front of him. He slowly started to approach them, before stopping himself and hiding behind a rock. He knew what he was seeing wasn't normal.
   There were two sableye, but one was screeching in distress, echoing through the cave's walls. Its little arms and legs kicked and scratched, but it couldn't get back into its feet. It's body then suddenly stopped struggling. The cave went silent. The trainer's eyes widened.
  What use to be the sableye's sparkling eyes shaped like diamonds were now two empty holes filled with blood. It stained its body with red, making it even darker soaking into the purple fur. It had multiple deep claw marks all over its body, especially around its face and on its chest.
  The other sableye lifted its head, holding both eyes in its hands. It walked past the trainer and threw the eyes into its pile. These diamonds were stained with blood, but they still shined and the sableye still wanted it in the collection. I guess it was true when they said how obsessed these Pokémon really are. They'd do anything just for one little jewel, or in this case, two. The trainer waited for the sableye to disappear before he ran out of the cave.
