Our graduation was the next day, I felt bad because Riley would be there longer than us. Jessica Stanley was the one to give the speech, and we sat in the crowd, waiting for the grad party. Alice was the one to throw it obviously.

Riley was here for me, and Rose, but otherwise she wouldn't be here.

Alice soon gathered every on the balcony. By everyone, I mean our whole clan, and the three wolves who Bella invited.

"They'll be here in four days." Alice told everyone. She saw a vision of the army.

"This could turn into a bloodbath." Carlisle pointed out.

"Who's behind it?"

"I didn't see anyone I recognized his face."

"I know it, Riley Biers. He didn't start this." Edward read Alice's mind.

"Whoever did is staying out of the action."

"They must be playing with the blindspots in your visions."

"Byt the way, the army is coming and there aren't enough of us to protect the town." I tell everyone. The whole town could be wiped out, or even turned. None of us want that many more vampires in existence.

"Hold up, what damn army?" Jacob asked. Slow isn't he.

"Newborns, their kind. Couldn't you get that?" Riley asked, her sassy side showing.

"What are they after?" Embry asked.

"They were passing around Bella's sent, her red blouse."

"They're after Bella? What the hell does this mean?" Jacob asked again.

"It means an ugly fight, lives lost." the wolves looked to each other, and nodded.

"Alright, we're in."

"No. You'll get yourselves killed, no way." Bella said, worried about her friend.

"I wasn't asking for permission."

"Edward-"

"It means more protection for you."

"Jacob, do you think that Sam would agree to...an understanding?" Carlisle asks him.

"As long as we get to kill some vampires."

"Jasper?" Carlisle turned to me to ask my opinion about this.

"They'll give us the numbers, and the newborns won't know that they exist. That'll give us an edge."

"We'll need to coordinate."

"Carlisle, they're going to get hurt." Bella says, trying to convince them to not allow them to fight.

"We'll all need some training. Fighting newborns requires knowledge that Jasper has." Riley gives me a puzzled look, and I can feel the confusion coming off of her. "You're welcome to join us."

"Alright, name the time and place."

"Jake, you don't know what you're getting into."

"Bella, this is what we do. You should be happy, look at us, working together, you're the one who wanted us to get along, remember?" Jacob asked her, throwing her words back in her face. We ended the night, and parted ways. Riley was gonna question me about my past. I don't know if I want her to know that side of me.
