Eclipse Chapter 4 (Florida and Back to School)

Riley being gone was painful, but it was for the best. After the group left, we found out about what Alice's vision was about. Victoria was coming. That's why Edward wanted Bella out of the state. I would want that to, and I'm glad that Riley isn't here.

Emmett and Carlisle went after her, and she kept running. Emmett kept following her, but when he did, he crossed the line. He crossed the territory. The treaty mark.

"She's going to get away!" Esme yelled, and Emmett tried to get at her, but the wolves followed him over, and we barely avoided a fight with them.

Thankfully, we managed to agree that we are not enemies and that we have a common goal. Get ride of Victoria. But that doesn't change much.

Emmett got into some trouble. In the process of trying to get Victoria, he crossed the line. Paul and Emmett got into a disagreement. Thankfully, they didn't tear him into pieces.

When Riley got back, I couldn't be happier. I convinced her to go to school with me, and she went willingly. I caught a ride with Edward and Bella, and I sit with Riley in the back.

"Do you regret going?" Edward asks Bella. He had wanted to keep Bella from becoming a vampire, and going to visit her mom was something that might stop her.

"No. It was really great seeing my mom. Just really hard saying goodbye."

"It doesn't have to be goodbye."

"Is that why you asked me to go? You thought that I was going to change my mind?" Yep.

"I'm always hoping." I looked out the window, and I saw Jacob. Why is that mutt here?

"What?" Riley asked.

"If we asked you two to stay in the car, would you?" I know Riley won't. I can hope. Edward and I exited the car and we closed the doors, I know that they aren't locked. We wouldn't leave them in there, and I wouldn't be surprised if Riley found a way out if it was locked.

Bella and Riley did open the doors, and walked with us.

"Of course not." I say. I can feel Riley feeling ashamed, I'm not really mad, but I don't think that she understands that I don't really want her being around anyone else but me right now.

"Hey." Bella greeted him.

"Charlie said you left town." Jack said, going straight to the point.

"Yeah, to visit my mom, why?"

"He's checking to see if your still human." Riley says annoyed, and while Jake ignores Riley, he turns to Edward who is laughing at what Riley said.

"Look, I'm here to warn you. If your kind comes on our land again-"

"Wait what?" Bella asked, I can feel the shock coming from both her and Riley.

"You didn't tell her." He's acting like the good guy.
"Just leave it alone, Jacob."

"Tell me what?"
"Emmett and Paul, had a misunderstanding. It's nothing to worry about." Edward glazes over the facts.

"Listen to you, did you lie to get her out of town to?" I felt Riley's anger coming forward.

"You should leave. Now."

"She has a right to know, she is the one the red head wants."
"Victoria? Alice's vision!"

"I was trying to protect you."

"By lying to me. Okay, we are going to talk about this, but you, why haven't you called me back." Bella addressed the mutt.

"I had nothing to say."

"Well, I have tons. Hold on."

"Hey, Bella." Edward tried to stop Bella from going with the wolf.

"Edward you have to trust me."

"I do trust you. It's him I don't trust."

"Bella." Riley called to her half sister.

"What?"

"Let me talk to Jacob before you go alone." She looked at me, as if asking for my permission. Bella grabbed her hand, and dragged her off before I could say anything.

"No." Jake said as soon as she got over there.

"No what?" Bella asked him.

"I'm not going anywhere with her." I couldn't stop the growling coming.

"Don't worry you won't. I just need to talk to you."

"I'll come back when you guys are done talking." Bella walked away from the two, but not back over to Edward, which broke his heart.

"Why do you want to talk to me?"

"Because you used to be my best friend. What made you change?" She wants to know why he betrayed her.

"Nothing, I was never your friend."

"Then why act like you were?"

"To crush you." I could feel her anger and I saw her fist curling, ready to hit him.

"Listen, if you hurt Bella in any way, I swear to god, I will make it painful for you, you know what castration is?" He shook his head. "Might want to look it up."
What Riley said surprised me. '

"He's going to kill you, you know that, right?" Jacob called from behind.

"You're wrong, he's going to change me. Make sure to look it up."
"Would you really do that to him?" I asked her.

"Hell yeah." We then walked into the school while Bella rode off with Jacob on a motorcycle.
