Over the next few days, Riley has been having a good time with her transition. She found out that we have the same powers. That is a coincident.
"Are you hungry?" I asked for the umpteenth time today.
"No. You would be able to tell. If you're hungry, go ahead. You can go, I'll be fine."
I leave to go hunting, thinking everything will be fine, but Alice called. I rushed back to the house and got Riley. Explained what was going on with Bella, and then the two of us left.
The drive was not relaxing, we were both worried. Bella being pregnant with a half vampire half human child. That's not going to end well.
When we pulled up, Esme ran outside, pulling the both of us into a hug.
"Riley, it's so good to see you." Rose said from behind her. I felt her emotions lighten.
"It's good to see you as well." Her smile is so beautiful.
"Riley?" Bella asks from the porch. I turn to look at her and see Edward with her. "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to meet my niece."
"She's not your niece. We aren't even sisters, you were never there for me." Bella goes up to her. I felt Riley's anger getting worse by the millisecond.
"I tried to be there for you, I gave up almost everything, my room, my social life, everything. You were just occupied with your little love triangle. Not to mention that my ex best friend was one of the guys you strung along." She tried to push past them, but Edward pushed her back, I growled and he gave me a warning look. He knows that I can beat him in a fight.
"Nessi is asleep inside. We don't want you to wake her." I could feel the confusion going through Riley.
"Riley? Are you okay?" I asked. How can I help her? Honestly, I don't know what to do.
I don't think you can help." She voiced my thoughts. "I think I copied Edwards power."
