Breaking Dawn Chapter 8

Nessi convinced Bella and Edward to let Riley talk to her niece. I don't know how she did it, but she loves being around her new aunt. Riley already now has another version of Nessi's power, but Bella sees it as stealing. Riley and I will sometimes have mental conversations for hours.

Edward has helped her up with mind reading, and they are now somewhat friends in that case.

Bella thought that it would be a good idea to take Nessi outside with Jacob, and apparently they ran into Irena.

Sadly, Alice then had a vision. All I could feel from her was how scared she was before she explained what she saw.

The Volturi, they were coming after us. They think Nessi is an immortal child.

"Riley, I'm scared." Nessi said to Riley.

"There's nothing to be scared about. None of us would let anything happen to you, okay? Go to sleep, it's way past your bedtime." I hear her pick Nessi up and bring her to her room.

"You would make a great mother." I heard Alice say to her. I felt sadness coming from Riley. I knew that she wanted kids, and now that possibility has been taken away from her.

"Sadly, I don't believe that would be possible in the future.

"Come, Jasper and I believe that the three of us should go hunting." She says, hinting that there is something else involved than just hunting.

We got to far enough away so no one would hear our conversation. Alice stopped. She explained that there might be a way to convince the Volturi that Nessi is different than an immortal child.

She asked if the two of us were okay with going with her, I was already planning on going, but I didn't know if Riley wanted to stay with Nessi. She slightly surprised me when she agreed to go. We thankfully did not pack, because Alice already packed for us, and wrote a note. We were off.
