When she opened her eyes, my non beating heart skipped a beat. She looked around the cabin, confused about where she was.
"Riley, how are you feeling?" I asked, she turns around, surprised and happy that I'm here. She wraps her arms around me, and didn't realize her new strength.
"You're kind of crushing me." I said, my voice strained from the pain of her grabbing me.
"How? You're a vampire?" She asked.
"You are to. Sorry, you'll be sixteen forever." I said, I couldn't help but feel guilty about that.
"There's nothing to be sorry about. Now it'll be funny if I go to school and beat up Emmett. Where are we by the way?"
"A long ways from people. We don't have to go back anytime soon though."
"Charlie! What does he think happened to me? What about Bella? And everyone else?" She asked, realizing that she is officially dead.
"You were in a coma for a long time, the doctors told Charlie it was time for you to be let go. I bit you before you were cut loose from the breathing tube. Charlie thinks you're dead, everyone else knows you'll be a vampire."
"Where is everyone though?" I saw the venom pool in her eyes.
"Bella and Edward got married, they didn't wait for you to wake up. They're on their honeymoon. Everyone else is back in Forks. They thought that it would be a good idea to give the two of us to wake up." She looked like she was thinking. I didn't interrupt her process until I felt her hunger.
"We should go hunting. You need to start working on your diet."
