Jackie's POV
The other day ended up being nothing. General Strong said "some bastard backfired" then she tried to figure out who it was. I have figured out that one of her favorite words is bastard. I wrote my letter to Niall yesterday and there's a box that we have to put them in in the main building. I really hope he sends something back.
Strong comes into the tent and tells us that we're going for a ride through the village again. She said that there's been some activity recently, and she wants us to check it out. I stuff the letter into my pocket to put in the box later.
