Jackie's POV

I wasn't planning on going in early today, so I didn't set an alarm last night. I got up when I wanted to which was the best decision I've made in a while. The boys still aren't up yet so I decide to go get ready. If one of them are still not up by the time I leave I'll probably text Calum and tell him I went to work. I still have his number from when he texted me.

Once I get out of the shower I change into something so I'm comfortable but I don't look like a slob. Jeans, a grey t-shirt, and a flannel around my waist. I'm probably gonna wear my new heels I got last week. I haven't been able to wear them yet. I try not to take too long on my makeup, since I've already had my contacts in since I woke up. I put my shoes on before heading downstairs.

I let Raph out and wait by the door for him to come back. He doesn't like the cold so he usually doesn't take too long outside. When I let him back in I turn around and Luke is standing at the bottom of the stairs.

"Morning." He says. His morning voice is so groggy.

"Morning." I walk towards the kitchen, and he follows. I grab a granola bar, if I don't eat anything today Niall will say something. "I'm heading off to work. I'll probably be back around seven."

"Ok." Luke is sitting at the counter, head resting on his arm, scrolling through his phone. I'll stop somewhere for coffee. I don't have time to make a pot. I sit up on the counter since I have time. I call John and he picks up after the first ring. The shop is probably busy.

"Hello?"

"Hey John. I just got back from New York yesterday, and I'm probably coming into work today." I fumble with the hem of my jeans.

"That's ok, you don't have to though."

"I just haven't been to work in a week or so and it feels weird not going to work." He laughs a little on the other end.

"I understand that....uh we are kinda busy so if you don't mind getting walk ins when you get here that'd be grate."

"I don't mind. Is Ben in today?"

"Ya he was here early."

"That's surprising. Ok I'll see you in a few minutes. I'm leaving now."

"Ok, see you then." I hang up and Luke is still on his phone. I hop down and walk out of the kitchen. After grabbing my wallet and my coat out of the closet I go back into the kitchen.

"I'll be back later tonight." I say getting my hair out from under my coat.

"Ok, I'll see you later. We probably won't go anywhere."

"Ok. By Luke." He smiles back at me and I grab my keys before leaving. I make sure to stop to get coffee before getting to work. I don't think I'd be able to get through today if I don't get some coffee. When I walk in the back door I can see it's kinda busy today. I give Ben a hug from behind cause he's working on a tattoo, and I get my stuff set up.

"Jackie, are you ready for someone right now?" I say yes without turning around. I finally finish setting up and I turn around to meet piercing blue eyes. I shake the guys hand.

"Matthew." He introduces himself. Well at least my morning isn't too boring.

I chose not to leave early and take another client. They didn't want anything big and I was done within an hour and a half. Ben decided to stay also to talk with me. I messed with him the whole time asking him if he didn't get enough of spending every second with me the past couple days.
