Niall's POV
When Jackie left in December she decided to leave her phone with me. She said it would be safer with me. I grab both of our phones and head out the door. The lads and I have an interview today then I get to come back home and relax.
-
I sit down on the couch and turn on the tv. A football game is on. I start watching it when one of our phones went off. I turn the volume on the tv down, then pick up the phone making the noise. I didn't check who's phone it is before answering it.
"Hello?" I asked pressing it against my ear.
"Who is this?" They answered back with a question.
"You called me. Who is this?"
"Is this Jackie Dunkle's phone?" I look down at the phone. The case gives it away that it's her's.
"Yes it is. Now, who is this?"
"It's Jackie's father."
"Oh. Um, hi sir. This is Niall."
"Oh her dumb little boyfriend?"
"Excuse me?"
"Now your hard of hearing too? Look can I just talk to my daughter?"
"You can't."
"Look you little shit. You better let me talk to her." He started to raise his voice.
"No you can't."
"Well why the hell not?"
"She's in the army." Silence. No noise. No nothing.
"Your shitting me."
"No I'm not shitting you. She's in Iran. I'd appreciate it if you didn't swear at me." This coming from me, and I swear like a trucker. "And I'd appreciate it if you didn't call again."
"Listen buddy. I can do whatever the fuck I want to. I can tell my daughter who to be. I can tell her what to think, and who to marry. Hell! I can fucking shoot her if I want!" I'v had it to here with this guy.
"You can never tell her who to be. You can try, but you won't succeed. She's her own person. She thinks for herself and she's very opinionated. No you can't tell her who to marry because she's going to be marrying me one day. If you don't want me to marry your daughter then you can just suck it. Also someone beat you to the last one. Goodbye and don't ever call again." I hung up. He fucking irritates me. The phone starts ringing again. I answer it rather harshly.
"I thought I told you to never call again."
"Wow Niall. You really got angry at Jackie's father didn't you?"
Who is this?"
"No one and everyone."
"That makes no sense. Who the fuck are you?"
"Hey cool. Rams won twenty to five." I look at the tv. Coincidence. Their probably watching the game too, and figured I'm watching it too. "Oh and by the way you better put out that candle before it tips over." I look at the candle sitting on the edge of my coffee table. As I moved it away from the edge they hung up. Oh my god that was Jac's stalker. I grab my phone, and called the only person who I know would do the job right.
"Hey Paul, I need a favor."
"Ok?"
"Can you and two of the other bodyguards come over and check my house for any hidden cameras or anything?"
Ya Niall, we'll be right over." I hung up and waited for them to get here.
-
"Thank you." I paid the guy and he left. Paul and Patty found at least five cameras set up in different parts of the house. I don't even know how they snuck in to put them in. They got rid of them, and I just had a security alarm installed. It's hooked up to everything in the house. Even the windows. There's a passcode I have to punch in every time I open and close the door. If someone breaks in then the police are notified.
I'm going to get Jac's phone number changed. I press in the code then open the door. I lock it then leave.
-
After changing her number I press on all contacts and send a message to her whole contacts list telling them that she has a new number. I don't think that person will be bothering us anymore.
