32: Finding Chloe's Mom

i heard a knock from my door.

"Chloe, are you just going to lock your self here? or are you going to wipe those tears and fix yourself?" That's my dad.

"Fix my self? how will i do that? i can't even do anything to find mom. What do you expect me to do?!"

"Are you gonna fix your self so Draven can pick you up? or are you just gonna lock yourself here the whole day?"

Napatayo ako bigla when dad said that.

i'm in a hurry to open the door.

"Dad, you promise okay? that after i fix myself you will allow me to see Draven again?"

"Yes. I promised. i realized that you guys didn't deserve to be in this problem, you have your own life and matured enough to decide for your own good. I am just here to guide you. I'm sorry for being so selfish at first. i promised to support you all the time. I promised that i'll do anything and everything just to be the best father to you, Anak."

lalo ata akong naiyak dad, teka. hahahaha. But ops, this is not the time for Drama and kalokohan we need to find mom.

I gave my dad a huge hug. "Thankyou." I said.

Bumitiw na ko sa pagkayakap sakanya.

"Go, tell draven to pick you up here and help together to find your mom. and i will do the same."

naalala ko bigla, di ko pa pala nasasabi kay dad kung sino  kumidnap kay mom.. :(

i think he deserves to know. so that he'll know where he specifically can find mom.

"Ah, Dad." i hold his hands. "Sorry if i didn't tell you. I know why mom is missing." Nakatingin lang sakin si Dad na may pagtataka. "Kinuha sya nila Veronica. The day you told me about you being a vampire is also the day that Veronica called me and told me that she have my mom."

"Huh? bakit nya daw kinuha mommy mo?! for what reason?"

"I don't know, maybe it's because of me. galit sya sakin kaya nadamay si mommy. kaya i'll not forgive myself if may mangyaring masama kay mommy."

"Shh, it's not your fault anak. don't blame your self. Makakabalik din ang mommy mo. kaya wag na tayo magsayang nang oras. So, hurry up!!" i smiled and nodded.

namomotivate ako sa ginagawa ni daddy. lalo akong napupursige gawin lahat para mahanap si mommy. I'll do everything mahanap lang sya. di pa ko nakakapag sorry sakanya sa lahat, and i need to talk to her. Kahit wala akong powers like vampires at kahit normal human lang ako, sisikapin ko padin mahanap si mom.

Naligo nako, nag ayos at nagtext na kay Draven na he can pick me up.

nasa living room ako while waiting for him and si dad naman tumatawag na sa mga connections nya para matulungan kami.

I'm thinking if sino pabang vampire ang kaclose ko or kakilala ko na di ko nalalaman.

narinig ko na ang tunog nang sasakyan ni Draven.

"Oh, andyan na ata yung boyfriend mo." Napalingon ako bigla kay Daddy sa sinabi nya. what? Boyfriend?

"Dad, Draven is not my boyfriend."

"Yes po tito. Hindi pa po kami." Naku, narinig pa pala netong gwapong bampira na to. 🙊

"hindi pa? So may chance?" Dad asked.

"Uhm, eh ayun po kung papayagan niyo."

"We'll see." Dad said and smirk.

nyawww sila lang nagkakaintindihan.
