Do you know where your heart is? Do you think you can find it? Or did you trade it for something, somewhere, better just to have it?

I see several bodies on the ground and blood and weapons are all over the place. It is hard to see what is who’s and from which camp. I have trouble breathing and I look over my shoulder once, but Pan hasn’t followed me. I’m feeling panicked as I look around desperately looking for Hook –either his body or alive. I see that the fight has stopped and I can finally see that all the bodies on the ground are Lost Boys and I feel a flash of guilt. I didn’t want this to happen. But on the other hand I’m relieved. Then I see a few familiar people – Sam, Derek and Smee are sitting on the ground besides a body…

I feel my stomach drop out of fear and I can’t breathe anymore as I walk over to the group to see the face of the person who I can see now is stabbed in the stomach. I’m almost blinded by the blood, but I force myself to look at his or her face.

And first I feel relieve, then guilt then relieve again.

The person isn’t Hook. Nor Tinkerbell. It is Hawk.

Before the guilty feeling for feeling relieved can get the better of me, I see he is still breathing. When I see that the others have no serious injuries that will kill them, I again start to look around again. They are so caught up in trying to stop Hawks wound from bleeding, that they don’t notice me. I don’t blame them. I’m even happy for it. They can later be relieved I’m alive. I’ve got more important things to do right now.

Looking around, my eyes don’t even have time to adjust and the upcoming tears don’t make it easier.

Suddenly, someone grabs me from behind and I scream. I want to grab my knife when I realize I must have dropped it after I stabbed Pan in the arm. I turn around anyway and grasp in relieve as I see who grabbed me; Hook.

He has a few little cuts in his face, but no blood is visible and apparently he has survived Felix. His blue eyes are gazing in mine, full of relieve, and I fall in his arms. I let myself being clocked in his warmth and my relieve while I know we should be going back to the ship. But I don’t care.

‘You’re one hell of a fighter, Rosewood. You’re okay?’ Hook asks as he strokes my strawberry blond hair and then kisses my forehead. I nod.

‘Is he dead? Is Peter Pan dead?’ he asks and he pulls me closer to his chest and I sigh.

‘No, but he is poisoned.’ I say, but then I remember something. I’d been so caught up in Hook being alive that I forgot someone else who is supposed to be here too. ‘Where is Tink?’ New panic floods through my body, only considering that Tinkerbell is dead. Hook takes my shoulders.

‘She is fine. She is getting some bandage for Hawk.’

‘Thank God.’ I sigh and then I see Tinkerbell appearing from behind the trees with white fabric in her hand, what I suppose is the bandage, and I run towards her. She greets me with just as much enthusiasm as she returns my hug. She doesn’t ask about Pan. In fact she doesn’t say anything, focusing on Hawk, as she falls on her knees next to him. The blade is still in his stomach and the blood doesn’t stop running down. A terrifying amount of blood is lying underneath Hawk. He needs medical help and that is something none of us can give him.

‘Okay, this is gonna hurt, mate.’ Hook says as he too sits down next to Hawk, who’s face is getting paler by the second. Hook grips the handle of the blade and yanks it out of Hawks body as the person in interest screams on top of his lungs. It is that kind of scream with so much pain it almost makes you cry.
