Before I get into this, I want to clarify that I did not make this up at all. These are my real experiences that I feel needed to be told.

So I'll say it now, I have always had a feeling that the paranormal was real but I've had some experiences that are much heavier in a sense.

One such experience was when I first played with a Oujia board.

Years ago at my friend's house, we were talking about the paranormal and sharing stories of what we had seems before.
Things were perfectly normal until she came out of no where and said "let's make a oujia board and talk to spirits!"

At first I was skeptical about it and didn't think it'd work since it's wasn't a real one. But eventually she convinced me to do it with her.

Once we got everything set up, meaning we burned candles in a circle around us, we began our session. At first, nothing really happened. We had a few spirits talk to us but nothing more. Then things took a dark turn.

We said goodbye to what we believed was the spirit of a child who took a liking to me and talked about what happened. We decided to only do it a few more times before going to get some sleep. By that point, it was nearly midnight.

We started a new channel and we asked if there was anyone there with us. It moved to yes and she asked them to spell out their name. Almost immediately it moved to the "z" then to the "o". It kept repeating that sequence. It spelled out "Zozo".

At the time, I had no idea about what spirits could be summoned by a Oujia board so I didn't think much of it. My friend, on the other hand, freaked out. She explained to me that Zozo was a powerful and dangerous demon that could bring about bad luck. (If you want more info on Zozo, Ghost adventures, my favorite show, did a whole episode on it)

Once I heard this, I felt panicked as well but I kept calm the best I could. We tried closing it but nothing we did worked. Zozo kept talking to us. Finally my friend started asking questions. I don't remember all of them but the ones I remember most started with "are you here to hurt one of us?"

It went straight to yes.

She asked if Zozo want to hurt me. It went to no.

At that point, I had relaxed because I felt as if I were safe. The air around us had thickened but I felt calm and almost comfortable.

She asked if it was her it wanted to hurt and it went back to yes.

She started to panic again and I finally took over. I asked calmly why I was the safe one. To that, I got no response. I then said that it wouldn't hurt my friend. After my statement, it went to Goodbye.

The session ended like that.

She was still shaken up but I kept my composure.

It didn't click in my head until recently that spirits and demons tend to not want to cause me harm.

What I mean is I've been to places where malevolent spirits have been reported and have had no issues.

Some places in particular were locations in Savannah, GA. I went to the Sorrel Weed house and took a tour. They told us of a room were a girl had died centuries ago and has been spotted over the years. I went into the room and felt something there. Nothing happened to me though.

Another area there was an underground area near River street that people would get attacked in. Our tour guide even had gotten attacked there and refused to go back in. He said that we were free to go ourselves and I took the chance. I walked in and walked around alone like it was nothing. Nothing attacked me or touched me at all. When I came back out unscathed, he was almost surprised that I was ok.

I've had other experiences with poltergeists as well as witnessed possessions first hand but those are long stories and I've already rambled on enough about this.

I'll be happy to share more about my experiences if you guys want me to but this is all I'll write for now.

You can also comment or dm me if you want more stories from me! I'll happily reply as soon as I can!

I'll end by saying that the paranormal can be very dangerous. Something could attach to you and cause you and the people around you harm. Also, I do not condone the use of Oujia boards. I was very lucky to not have gotten any attachments from it or even get possessed. Please be careful with the paranormal as it is something dangerous and not to be taken lightly.

Stay safe my friends!
